Pawtuckaway Lake Waterfront Rental, Very Private with Views
- Minimum stay:7 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
This house has gorgeous views of Pawtuckaway Lake with its small islands and loons. The shore in the view has almost no houses on it, as it is state park campsites. The waterfront is totally private with about 200 feet of swimmable shore. There is a rowboat and two kayaks for you to enjoy. Also a dock if you would like to have your own boat.
The deck has a huge screened in porch next to it. The fishing is fantastic. The interior is completely pine paneled with open concept living room dining room and kitchen. The living room has a wood stove on a stone hearth. The State Park has hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and of course swimming available and is very nearby.
This is a hard to find, special place to spend your vacation. Everyone loves it here!!

Well kept, comfortable vacation house with all the benefits as described. What's hard to quantify is how relaxing and enjoyable this house is. Lake Pawtuckaway is great - there is lake activity, but not too much. The views are awesome. Morning coffee on the deck is fabulous. The house provides all the amenities for a complete family vacation. We were there for 10 days and didn't want to leave. Close to NH and Maine ocean beaches, deep sea fishing, antiquing, shopping and, of couse, the State Park. If you're on this site and considering this rental - do it. You'll be very glad you did.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you Cindy for sharing your review. It sounds like you had a fantastic time on your vacation.

Spent a week here in 2009. We rent lakehomes each year and this is our favorite lake. The lake is perfect for kayakers with many channels and small islands to explore. The larger area is ideal for motorized boating. The home is clean, well maintained and charming. The accomodations were perfect for the two of us. Had some difficulty finding a memorable restaurant eating experience locally but the Maine coast was reachable for lobster and shopping. It was a great week.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1994
About the owner: Hi! Here I am at the lake and loving it. I have been summering there for many years and can't think of any place I would rather be.
Why the Owner Chose Nottingham:
Southern New Hampshire is a great location as you can do day trips to the ocean, Portsmouth or Boston, the White Mountains and even Maine. But mostly you won't want to leave the lake!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The lake is wonderful as it has so many interesting coves and islands to explore. There is lots of wildlife with loons and great blue herons. The fishing is excellent! There are a lot of hiking trails near the house, and the State Park is full of great trails too. The Rock climbing is a major attraction within the State Park and some people go 'bouldering' too. The climb up Pawtuckaway Mountain is a nice short hike with a look out tower on top.
