If you are looking for a Unique and Luxurious getaway, this is the place! It is located near Sedona and Jerome, within walking distance to restaurants and music in an little village atmosphere. The Alley Inn is located in an historical Building on Main Street, with the entrance on the back alley The inside will take your breath away with its unusual features. Once an old photo studio, the weighted backdrop pulleys are still there.the red light comes on when you go into the bathroom. It has its own big-screen theater with two comfortable recliners, an indoor fountain, a spiral staircase, and a GIANT hammered Copper tub.A large sectional sofa in the living area.
It is the perfect home base for exploration of the area! If you want to explore the Grand Canyon you will be well on your way! It is the home of the Verde Valley Steam engine which will take you on an unusual tour of the Desert Valley. There is a park across the street and Main street is the front of the building.

My husband and I just spent 8 nights here and it was everything and more than we had expected.The pictures and description did not do justice to the property. The fridge and cupboards had all to get us started on our stay to this most comfortable and peaceful setting. This was the perfect place for us to travel and visit this awesome destination from, Central and easily accessible to sites and restaurant. We would highly recommend The Alley Inn and the surrounding area... We loved everything and came home feeling renewed....Thank You

My friend and I stayed here for an extended girls weekend. Alley Inn is quite simply, amazing! It is spotlessly clean, well decorated and very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the location is very quiet. All you need are your clothes and your food if you are eating in. There are even spices in the well stocked kitchen! There is also a barbecue grill outside if you want to grill something. The owner goes to great lengths to make sure that her patrons are well take care of! The location is perfect and central to many sites. Jerome is 4 miles away, Old Town Cottonwood is 5 minutes away and Sedona a short 20 minute drive. This was the perfect weekend and we loved our stay at Alley Inn. We could hardly wait to get home to tell people about the best kept secret in the Clarkdale/Jerome and Cottonwood area! We will definately be staying here again.

This historic property is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful details (oversized hammered copper tub, big screen tv, surround sound system, spacious living areas, exposed brick walls, etc.) throughout made our stay really delightful. The Alley Inn had all the necessities of home. Fully stocked kitchen, baths, and laundry room, The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bed linens were very plush and so comfortable! The charm and character of this property is unbelievable and offered our family luxury accomodations in a wonderful location for our travel plans. Just a short distance away, we were able to visit historic towns such as Jerome, Cottonwood, and Sedona! For a quick day trip, we also travelled to the Grand Canyon. Excellent restaurants, shopping, and winery's and tasting rooms were nearby. A few miles away we were able to take a well known train ride through the Verde Canyon, and then enjoyed a real cowboy's dinner and show that night. Nearby national monuments and museums were also very reasonable and close by to our location. The scenary everywhere we looked was just breathtaking! We will definitely be back next year and are bringing the grandparents and children! Our family would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to experience Arizona at an affordable vacation rental.
