Large, graciously appointed multi-million dollar home in the private, gated North Bethany community of Breakwater Beach. This lovely home is only steps from an uncrowded and private beach. The house features breathtaking bay and ocean views.
You'll find six expansive decks coming off this home and a spacious 'tower room/den' that serves as a special get-away area for kids and adults alike. The house has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The house is perfect for family gatherings or a beach vacation with 2 or 3 other families. The house sleeps 14 people with 2 kings, 1 queen, 6 twins and a queen sleeper sofa on the 3rd floor. The house has 3 master suites with their own bathrooms. Two of the hallway baths open up into 2 twin bedrooms. The hallway doors to the baths can be locked and the hallway baths can be used as private baths for the twin rooms. This home has a screened-in porch, outside shower, gas grill, charcoal grill, four TV's, DVD and VCR players, and stereo. The house is just 4 houses from an expansive private beach, or a short 3 or 4 minute walk to the beach. The house is on the ocean side and there is no need to cross a highway or major road to get to the beach. The house is an ideal place for a beach vacation.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Undesignated
We used to go to the Outer Banks and loved the wide expansive private beaches and the large elevated homes. When we discoverd that North Bethany had the same amenities with about 4 less hours of driving, we jumped at the chance to build a place in North Bethany.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The home has great views of both Rehoboth Bay and the Ocean. It is great to take in the views on the many decks or to just unwind reading a book or relaxing. The beach is a short 100-150 yards from the house and it is nice to go for a jog or walk on the beach. The beach is private so it is often like we almost have the entire beach to ourselves. There is plenty of space on the beach to play ball with my son or to just kick back with a book or ipod.

I enjoy tennis, skiing, jogging, reading, music, working around the house and time with the family. My wife and I met at Dewey Beach, just up the road and I had a group beach house there for 10 years that I shared with other 20-somethings before marriage. We have 2 kids that also have the beach in their blood and a Golden Retriever named Dewey-named by my wife and kids after Dewey Beach!

Great Beach House for multiple families

We will be staying at this home for the third summer this year!! It is ideal for for multiple families because 3 couples can have their own master bedroom and bathroom and 2 kids can share each of the 3 additional bedrooms. We even had a couple with a baby stay in the loft. There is plenty of room, large decks with ocean views. The location can't be beat and having a pool in the community is great for the kids after a long day on the beach. The house is decorated very nicely, simple and beachy. We really look forward to going each summer for a week with the whole family!

Stayed in this house with a large group for a long weekend in October and it was perfect. The house was equipped with everything we needed, making our stay very comfortable. The community where the house is located is very nice and the house is only a short walk from a beautiful beach. Would absolutely stay here again.
Owner response:The house is large and perfect for large groups, retreats or a number of families. The house has 3 master bedrooms with their own private bathrooms. However, there are another 2 bedrooms that connect to hallway bathrooms. It is possible to lock the hallway doors to these bathrooms and to set them up as private baths. Therefore, the house can be set up to have 5 master bedrooms with private baths. The second great room area on the 3rd floor also works great as a get-away area for adults or a separate hang-out area for the kids.

I have rented beach houses for the past 30 years, up and down the shore from New Jersey to Florida. We had 13 in our group and this place was simply wonderful as it is very spacious with all the comfort of home. In addition it offers a private beach and is convenient to recreation, stores and restaurants. This is such a great place to enjoy all that Bethany has to offer. We had a blast and this home will be first on our list when we return to Bethany.

I have rented many houses in the Outer Banks for our family Thanksgiving. This is the first time I have rented in Bethany. I couldn't have sought or found a house more perfectly suited to our needs.This house is wonderfully spacious, airy, clean and well appointed.The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and blankets to go around.The kitchen was well stocked with all the normal kitchen amenities (coffee pot; toaster; blender; etc.) and all matching cutlery and dishes. We all had a very relaxing Thanksgiving and we made many happy memories for all of us. It was very close to the beach and the weather was perfect.We will definitely be back again next year.
