This cabin was a great place to stay! Close to the mountain, as well as good restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, and the living room was stocked with movies and board games. I highly recommend this cabin.

Clean, comfortable cabin. As another had mentioned it isn't as secluded as the photos make it appear but still quiet & private. Our 2 children thought it was great. Beats a hotel room, especially for a longer stay, plus the advantage of having a working kitchen

Wonderful stay, just me & my boyfriend. Loved the charm of this place. Yes, floors slope, that's what happens when you convert porches, very common in old houses (1927). Owners purchased adjoining lot, so nice woodsy feel and space to breathe! Neighbors near front of house not an issue because you're on the back deck, which faces trees and creek. Great wood burning fireplace on back deck, was so cozy! Gas stove AND wood burning stove inside. Had decent stereo & iPod dock. Lots of firewood available. Great location closer to Portland than beach. Thank you for accepting dogs, she LOVED it! Took long bath. No van fan in bathroom, just fyi. Kitchen great & well stocked. Only suggestions would be bring newspaper/kindling & mgmt might want to use double sided tape or rug mat because rugs do slip. Also, dvd remote didn't work, might need batteries. Very well managed with plenty of notes and information about local hikes. Tons of towels, large hot water heater. Two nights is not enough, check-in at 4pm and check-out at 11am. I would suggest at least 3 nights, 4 would be better. We really had an amazing time! Would return again!

Very happy stay for 2 very happy couples!I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a fun trip away from the city for his 31st birthday. After looking on VRBO I came across this location and fell in love with the photos right away! Then I read the comments from other people and I was hooked. The place is just as wonderful as it appears! It's quaint, cozy decore and beautiful surroundings make this location the perfect get-a-way for any two couples (even some with some kids). There was fire wood at our disposal, along with many games and movies to choose from. I will come to this cabin again and would recommend it to anyone!

My family totally enjoyed the cabin. The running creek behind the house was a peaceful sound early in the morning while having coffee on the back porch. The fireplace really added the feel of being in the middle of the woods. We had the pleasure of meeting all of the neighborhood dogs which would come over to play with us. I will definatly rent another home from Vacasa. They were very helpful.

We had the most relaxing stay away from home at this cozy cabin. It's very clean and comfortable. We went on an easy hike around the Timothy Lake, had lunch at the Timberline Lodge, and then stop at the Trillium Lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Next day we went to the Wildwood Recreation Site and we're so glad we did. It would also be a great place to visit with younger children. Thanks for sharing this wonderful cabin.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Often one worries the 1st time you use a vacation rental. No worries folks! The minute we walked in the door we were at home in the country and well cared for. The living/dining room was well furnished with comfortable chairs and couch. The kitchen was beautiful, well stocked to do some fine cooking. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable with comforters and soft linens. Everything was clean by ecofriendly products,so no odd smells! Looking for a cabin in the woods, this is it. Many activities close by or simply lounge. Enjoy!

We all thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin - including the fussy dog. She had no problem relaxing in front of the fire, hiking through the woods and snowshoeing up on the mountain where we could actually find snow this year. Very comfortable and well appointed. Thanks

A fabulous cabin for a mountain getaway! Our family of 5 (inclding 1 toddler) enjoyed 5 days at the cabin. We have been renting cabins in this area for 4 years and this was the cleanest and nicest cabin we have stayed in. It rained our whole trip but we had a blast playing board games, watching movies and just enjoying the fireplace. We look forward to staying again next year!

We had a wonderful Christmas at the cedars cabin. Loved every minute. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Loved the kitchen setup. The bed was confortable, slept great. Loved all the windows and the tall trees. Enjoyed the gas firplace as well as the woodstove and there was plenty of wood available by the shed. We felt at home right away. Our pug, Keno loved it also. Would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I were so very pleased with our stay at The Cedars. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed walks and found the cabin very comfortable and inviting. We have property at the Oregon coast and found the mountain air refreshing and enjoyable. We will be back for another stay in the fall .

My husband, two teenagers, and I stayed here for 2 nights on the last leg of a 9 day summer trek across Oregon. When we first drove up we were a bit concerned about the close proximity to other cabins, but in the end that didn't affect our stay at all. This cabin is well kept, well stocked, and close to the things we wanted to do (enjoy nature). We all agreed it turned out to be one of the favorite places we stayed.

Our family of four loved the Cedars Cabin and the big trees and small Coho in the yard. Wildwood was a great place to take the kids to explore and learn, and it's so close by. The wild and scenic Salmon River was beautiful.

My husband and I honeymooned at the Cedar's Cabin. It was our first trip to Oregon. We loved every minute of our 9 day stay. The cabin was cozy and so clean...we loved the updated kitchen, the directions throughout the cabin and the proximity to so many places. We hiked, did a few day trips, went to the Columbia Gorge and Willamette Valley wineries. I would highly recommend the Cedars Cabin to anyone wanting a relaxing get away!

A beautiful little cabin for a family get-away. Very cute. Love the two fire options. If you have preschool age kids, make sure to check out the little trellis bridge to play Pooh sticks. Taking a drive up the salmon is perfect in rainy weather too.

What a wonderful little cabin. It was a prefect retreat for our family. Close to the mountain so after a long day of skiing it was just a quick trip to the cabin and more importantly the cosy warm fire. Looks like a wonderful place to spend during the summer too. We will definately be back up. The kitchen, bath and beds were all great. So nice to wake up surounded by the trees.

We had a great time at the cabin! It was so nice and quiet, but close to grocery & supplies if you forgot something. Also, it's right on the edge of Mt Hood National Forest where we did a lot of hiking. It's great, we'll be back for sure!

This is our favorite new spot for a quick getaway. We have stayed here twice - once following the birth of our son for some R&R as a new family and again at the end of the summer. The perfect mix of rustic cabin charm and amenities. We love spending time on the deck with a fire in the stove to keep the chill off. We hope to come back once a season to enjoy the mountain.

Our weekend at the cabin was truly one of the most utterly relaxing times we have enjoyed in several years! We were there for my 65th birthday and I truly felt like I was back in my grandparents' cabin in the Lake Huron woods. With one important exception - I loved cooking in the very up-to-date kitchen and relaxing in the definitely 21st century bath. Jule Ward

Loved this place....everything you need to feel at home. I was there the middle of August, and the weather was lovely. Had a fire on the back deck during morning coffee, you could hear the river in the distance. Had dinner in town one evening at the Rendezvous Resturant. Great meal, enjoyed the Salmon River Trail. Can't wait for the next trip....
