BEST LOCATION IN MAUNA LANI!! PRIVACY -AMENITIES

Hale Lani (heavenly home)in Palm Villas, privately gated, this small group of condominium homes bordered by the Historic Preserve and the North Course, affords security and privacy, while still being convenient to all of Mauna Lani’s amenities. With only 9 buildings and 44 units spread over 6 acres of lush tropical foliage, it is the lowest density condo complex at Mauna Lani and perhaps the island.

PRIVACY: No "foot traffic" from the Mauna Lani or Fairmont Orchid, or chatter from golfers. Enjoy the privacy of our panormaic northwesterly view over the historic preserve, basking in the heavenly hues of breathtaking sunsets. Grill some local beef from Parker Ranch or the ever abundant fresh fish and shrimp, on our fabulous Thermador grill while you enjoy the panoramic beauty.

Turn off the air conditioning and fling open the windows and doors, and be lulled to sleep by the gentle breezes wafting sweet tropical fragrances of Plumeria, then, wake to the sweet calls of Hawaii’s beautiful birds and rustling palms. No need for a bathrobe, only the birds can see you!!

We have spared no expense in making this our guest-families' "home away from home". Luxurious towels, 400 ct linens, fully equipped kitchen and designer furnishings await you, with much ALOOOOHA! And the hope you will return every year.

CONVENIENCE. No finer place to PAMPER YOURSELF than the luxurious Mauna Lani Spa and Fitness Center, just steps from Palm Villas entry gate. Palm Villas has its own private waterfall pool, hot tub and fitness center.

UNIQUELY MAUNA LANAI
-- pristine, private beaches, the best snorkeling in Hawaii. No boat needed, just swim out 20 yards and you will find yourself engulfed by schools of Hawaii’s brilliant and varied tropical fish, sea turtles, urchins and corals. Mauna Lani also boasts a green sea turtle nursery, protecting this endangered species, as well as the petroglyph park.

ECO-FRIENDLY.World renowned for its luxurious upscale amenities, Mauna Lani has the rare distinction of also being honored as one of the world's foremost ECO-FRIENDLY Beach Destinations by Condé Naste Traveler magazine's in its January, 2008 issue. In April, 2008 Mauna Lani was honored with a Green Golf Award, for its leadership in environmental stewardship by Golf Magazine.

FOODLAND FARMS has just opened an GOURMET MARKET with the freshest island seafood and meats, lush ripe fruits and veggies of every kind, on site bakery and if you have no time to cook...a fabulous deli of fresh salads, sandwiches and entrees.

The adjacent boathouse offers scuba, sunset cruises, and whale watching. Snorkeling equipment can be rented for $7.50 a day at the Beach club. You're welcome to borrow the snorkels and beach "toys" in the garage as available.

You will save hundreds off hotel rates, but rest assured you are not "alone", as we have a manager, residing only minutes away.

Why the Owner Chose Palm Villas

When I was young, we did not travel between islands, so I never went to Hawaii until a few years ago. The Beach Club's gentle sheltered lagoon was so like the Diamond Head area of Waikiki where I learned to swim as a toddler, and the whole resort was so reminiscient of the "old Hawaii" of my heart, that I fell in love with it. I love our Hale Lani, because of its unique privacy overlooking the preserve, and we can walk to everythig, Beach Club, Spa, Shops.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium

Watching the spectacular sunsets, snorkeling and just laying back and listening to beautiful birds singing in the morning. I am still awestruck by the volcano's eruptions and the endless things to do on the Big Island. Truly it is paradise.

Owner's Map of Palm Villas

I am a 3rd generation Kamaina from the island of Oahu. I recently retired from 3 decades of lawyering in SoCal, and now reside with my husband and 2 dogs in a small town in Oregon. We have children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and have lost count! God has blessed us with good health and a wonderful home to share with our guests at the Mauna Lani. Hawaii No Ka Oi!

We LOVED your condo and found it to be a wonderful place to stay while on the west coast of Hawaii. It was very spacious, clean, and beautiful, and we quickly felt at home with the wonderful amenities. The location was perfect for us to get to the many offerings of the resort as well as the rest of the area. We took it all in, from the lovely pool area and exercise room, to the black sand beach, the private owner's beach area, the Canoe Restaurant, the Mana Lani Shops, the Historic Walk just behind the condo, and of course, the sunsets every night from the beach at the Mana Lani Bay Hotel. Having the beach towels for us to use was such a great help! I will definately contact you when we plan our next visit to the Big Island. You've been very nice with which to work.

There was only one thing wrong.......it wasn’t long enough!! We had an amazing 6 days and the Palm Villa Condo is worthy of a 5 star! We loved sitting out on the Lanai reading early in the morning and then making breakfast for all of us. Not having to leave until 6pm on Sunday made it extra special. We went to the beach and had the afternoon to relax before taking off. Thank you for helping us with our short stay. It was wonderful. Our friends from France were overwhelmed. Thank you for the quick refund. Hopefully we will be calling you again for another paradise holiday. Marsha Schreiber

We had such a wonderful time. The condo was lovely and the landscaping and the pool and spa were fabulous. The location is great. We drove to the beach club most of the time because it was a bit far to lug snorkel gear, towels, etc. The snorkeling in the secluded cove was the best. The cabana chairs offered shade from the sun. We also liked 49 black sands beach to snorkel. (the next cove) We played tennis a couple of days. The best way to play is to take the morning clinic and then you don’t have to pay the court fee. The lesson is well worth the price. We loved Foodlands market at the shopping center. Excellent fish and marinated flank steak and more reasonably priced than I expected. They will give you a discount card. We cooked dinner about 4 nights and just enjoyed the complete relaxation of the lanai. The dishes and glasses are very nice. The caretakers were very helpful. They gave us lots of local tips. We went to the Mauna Lani poolside bar one evening for drinks at sunset and the whales put on the best show. The staff said that they had never seen them so close. It was truly a perfect vacation. We hope to return and would love to rent your unit again. We have been to a lot of different areas in the islands and this was my favorite place. It is luxurious without all the Disneyland things. You may use any of my comments on your website. Thank you. Maryann Levine, CA

Feel free to use the following comments about our recent stay: We enjoyed our stay here very much! This is a quality condo with a brand-new feel. Certainly nothing “tired” or cramped about it, as we have found in other Hawaii condo rentals. Pool is attractive and feels quite private. View from condo is over a tree- and bush-filled lava field, with lots of bird life. Nice to have a garage for security and shade. We would not hesitate to return to this unit should we ever visit this part of the Big Island again. We’ll certainly recommend it to our friends.

    • Aloha!! We are home and had a wonderful trip. The unit was beautiful and very comfortable. We celebrated Thanksgiving alone on the beach with a sunset picnic! The kids loved it! We also enjoyed the Lagoons and beach. The turtles were amazing in front of the Mauna Lani Hotel! I also helped rescue a dolphin one morning at the Beach Club. I held her for two hours after she came ashore. She had been bitten eight times by a shark! Unfortunately, she did not survive but it was an amazing experience. The state and other agencies all showed up and were very happy with the care we had provided. Again, the unit was awesome and very comfortable. We enjoyed the island and the quiet. Very nice, but comfortable and practical.

We just returned from our week at the Mauna Lani Resort, #E-22. It was delightful. We enjoyed the gorgeous decorations with the meticulous attention to little details. The condo is the best unit we have ever stayed in and we have been in many over the last 20 years. I especially liked the shower with what seemed to be lava stones on the bottom. What a nice feeling for the tootsies after a long day of exploring the beaches. We would certainly stay here again if there was ever another opportunity. The proximity to Hapuna Beach was definitely the highlight!! The unit was clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. =) It was easy to keep it that way with so many cleaning supplies on hand. =) Your directions were perfect and easy to follow. • We certainly enjoyed our time there. My favorite thing, when we weren't running about to see all the sights, was to open all the blinds and the front and lanai doors and let the soft breezes blow through. It made me think of a luxurious tree house with the palm branches rustling just off the lanai and the views in every direction! We also enjoyed all the birds we could watch just sitting on the lanai, wish we had brought some binoculars. The way it is situated, at the edge of the lava field, and the fact that it is upstairs makes it so private, I love that. Also I love to swim early in the morning, the pool was not busy, it was almost like having my own private lagoon and it was just a few steps from our door. What a beautiful layout. Lily
