Why the Owner Chose Waikoloa Beach Villas
We've been all over Hawaii, every island, and always spent a lot of time on the Big Island, which turned it into our favorite. A slower pace, relaxing beaches and the small town feel of the Kohala coast pretty much sums up why we like it so much. We get much less rain than the other side of the island, and also have great golfing, diving, snorkeling and surfing. The new Queens Marketplace and the Kings Shops offer walking distance to shopping, and A Bay is just a few steps further. Hapuna beach is just up the road if you want a classic big sandy beach, or if you keep heading north you'll find more rugged terrain both on the coast or up the hill in Parker Ranch. Or for a real adventure, a relatively short drive gets you to the volcano and awesome hikes.... what's not to love!?
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condo in Waikoloa Beach Resort lets you stay local if you want, but is also well placed if you want to get out and about. We furnished it very comfortably - in fact, we spend several weeks a year there ourselves, so it's always well maintained. We love the pools and the gym, after a hard day of cruising around the island we like to head back to the condo, get a glass of wine and head down to the pool and hot tub - not a bad way to end any day...!

At the end of 2007 my wife and I had the opportunity to buy our condo in Waikoloa Beach Resort. As California natives, we'd been travelling to Hawaii at least once a year for many years - we LOVE Hawaii and especially the Big Island. So, we took the chance and bought the place - to us, renting it out when we're not there is just a great way to make it more affordable.... and maybe spread a little Aloha around!

Excellent location for access to Anaehoomala beach; the condo was large enough to easily accommodate 6 people; nice that beach chairs were provided; excellently equiped kitchen; shopping, grocery and restaurants within walking distance.

We always try to keep extras in the garage such as boogie boards, beach chairs, towels etc - glad to hear that these items come in useful...! We also love the fact that the beach, fun shopping, and great dining are just a short walk - if you don't want a car, you can actually get away without one! Aloha!

Stayed in this beautiful unit December 2011 with my husband and dad. The unit was large, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed use of the beach chairs and umbrellas stored in the garage. We loved the view of the pool and mountains beyond. The location was great and we enjoyed walking to dinner at Roy's and shopping at the very closely shopping areas. A great stay and we want to come back soon!

We took a group of 3 college girls over to Waikoloa for spring break to relax, play on the beaches and work on tans. Had a great time in this unit. The loft bedroom with TV/DVD is a great feature that many of the Waikoloa Beach Villa units do not have. Each morning we sat at the table on the porch and enjoyed the warmth and view of the sunrise over the mountain. The unit is cool in the afternoon and it is wonderful to have shade in the afternoon on the pool-view side. Having stayed on the golf-course view units in the past, I appreciated not having the early morning wake-up of the lawnmowers on the greens. The management company was very helpful and accomodating and we had no problems at all. Loved the unit, decor, floorplan and expect to return again. Thank you so much for sharing your condo.

This was one of the best vacations ever. I went to Kona for a girls 4-day weekend. We packed our bags and left the kids at home. The best part of the vacation was the location of the condo and the amenities. We were minutes from amazing beaches and had a pool within a few feet of the condo to enjoy in the evenings (jacuzzi!). Because the condo is new and trendy we spent a great deal of time there enjoying the place. It's located right next to amazing shopping and restaurants. I had such a great time that I've already booked this condo in mid April for a family vacation.

The condo is brand new and has everything you could possibly need....even boogie boards and beach towels. After a day at the beach (we thought Mauna Kea beach was the best), it was great to come back to the condo, have some wine and cook dinner. We stocked up at Costco on our first day and enjoyed staying in some nights. The condo was huge for just the two of us...plenty of room for another couple or for a family. The view from the lanai has to be one of the best...overlooks the pool and a great view of the sunrise over Mauna Kea volcano. We'll definitely be making a trip back in 2008.

First of all I have to say Waikoloa is the best area to stay on the Island, close to the white sand beachs("A" bay), restaurants(Roys),lots of snorkeling and shopping, can't forget that! The condo is perfect for famlies or just for a couple. I am looking forward to spending our anniversary there in 2008 and some family time with the grandkids. Thanks, its a beautiful place.
