If you prefer the river experience, how about a trip canoeing or rafting on the Spring River.(Be sure to spend time at the falls swimming and watching fellow canoers navigate the biggest rapid on the river. Or take a tube and experience them yourselves.)
You can also play golf on either the North or South golf courses which offer a challenge to the experienced golfer and forgiving for high handicappers.
Don't forget to explore the many caverns and hiking areas close by.

This lake house is the perfect place to escape the daily hustles and bustles of life. We were there for only a three days and could not have ask for anything more. The kitchen is fully stocked - You will not need to bring anything extra. Some of the extra amenties include: Good Beds (we all sleep so soundly), Nice Towel Linens, Very Very Clean, Fishing off the dock, and the decorating makes you feel you are home away from home. Even on a rainy day there is plenty to do: Sit on the covered porch looking at the beautiful view, plenty of books to choose from for a afternoon of reading, DVD player to watch movies. If you decide to take a vacation on Lake Thunderbird this is the place to stay.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

I rented this place for my family this summer. Went by to see it and it is up scale. Much classier in person. Great for brother, daughters, and granddaughters with 4 bedrooms.
