Fully Furnished, cozy and tastefully decorated 2 rooms (50 Sq. metres) penthhouse. It includes 1 large Bedroom with closet, living-dining room, bath with shower and fully equipped kitchen and a big terrace-garden of 300 sq metres with stunning view of the Acropolis. The flat is in the center of Athens,3 minutes walk from metro station(Panepistimio)and all main public transportations, cinemas, theatres, museums and ten minutes walk from all important archaeological sites. Flat amenities include: wireless high speed internet connection, Air-conditioning (cool/hot), Hot water, Dolby stereo Color TV, Video, DVD/CD, Hair dryer, Iron, Stove/oven, Washing machine, Coffee maker, Refrigerator, kitchen accessories (plates, dishes, pots, etc). The bedroom includes 1 double bed with all necessary accessories (linen provided). The sofa in the living room can be used as an extra bed.

  • This apartment was the perfect home base from which to explore Athens. First of all, the huge rooftop terrace was a garden oasis with an unbelievable view of the Acropolis. The pictures don't do the roof terrace justice. The apartment was well equipped with everything you might need and very clean. Centrally located, we walked to all the sights and museums. We only used the subway, to get to Piraeus port and were easily able to walk(roll) our suitcases the few blocks to the Omonia square subway station. This is also where one of the two supermarkets is located, open until 20:00 but closed on Sunday. (The other is on Stadiou) The pastry shop and Everest (Athens fast food) located at Omonia also came in handy. The apartment was lovely with artistic decorations, comfortable beds, including the sofa where my son slept. The air conditioning was a blessing too in August . The apartment is very quiet as the building seems to have mostly offices. The computer and internet access were also very handy. We feel so lucky to have stayed here and are so grateful to Evanghelos for sharing this wonderful apartment oasis with us. Thanks also to Eleni who went out of her way to reunite us with something we left in the apartment and Sergios for greeting and orienting us when we arrived. Warmest regards, The Newmans

    Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much we enjoyed you place. The garden is amazing! I could have spent days just sitting around up there! The location was perfect as we were able to walk everywhere.The flat was comfortable and the computer and washer were very much appreciated too! Thank you for sharing your place with us.   • I originally booked 3 contiguous nights. Much later I realized that we were in Athens for 1 night following a trip to Delphi and Meteora and since it looked available requested an additional night. No problem with that request and we were told the apt would be cleaned only after our departure on the 5th day. Eleni, Evanghelos's manager met us at the metro station and guided us to the apartment, which helped in a strange city. Left us the key and we had it through the entire time until we left Athens the 2nd time. The apartment is cosy and great and is in a great safe location. While Eleni didn't know about grocery stores and said they would be closed past 6, there is one quite close to the apartment near stadiou st that's open late ( u come out of the apt bldg on Aristidou, go right, make first left then first right then walk a couple of blocks/lights past the square and it's on your right). The view is terrific from terrace, living room great, kitchen eminently usable and bedroom comfortable. Bathroom is very small, but that's like any in Europe. It's a sizeable walk to the acropolis district, but through nice areas esp if you go via syntagma/ermou, or the metro is really close. I didn't hear any response back on some questions on where to find something I'd forgotten in the US that I queried Evanghelos, but this is a small matter and it was one that I'm not sure he could have answered. There are no curtains in the apartment so it is somewhat fishbowl like, but there only appear to be offices opposite and we never saw a soul looking in our direction so it still feels private at night - but if you have phobias about voyeurs, this may not be the place for you. However, Highly recommend this place in Athens for a clean comfortable stay.

  • We had a wonderful 4 nts in Athens to finish off our 5 week European holiday. The Penthouse was very comfortable in a great, quiet location & we did not need to use public transport at all. Eleni was terrific - very helpful & nothing was too much trouble! We left one of our credit cards there & she contacted us immediately to arrange postage home! She also has the number of a very good taxi driver that we used (to & from the airport) & would highly recommend. A great spot! Thank you for having us!

  • We loved staying in this centrally located apartment. It is well equipt and has everything you need. The highlight for us was the beautiful private roof deck, we loved sitting out there with a glass of wine and enjoying the amazing view across to the Acropolis.

    We loved your place so so much! Cannot believe you would be willing to share this beautiful place with strangers. Your garden terrace was such a joy to relax and have breakfast, you have created such a gorgeous oasis. We planned on taking public transport to get around the city to see the sights, but we ended up being able to walk to almost everything so that was great. We took a trip to Hydra, it was wonderful.   • We ended up staying here longer than originally planned and found the apartment & its location (halfway between Syntagma and Omonia squares) ideal. The owner is very friendly (checks to make sure you have settled in OK) and his apartment has all you need including internet & satellite TV but, best of all, it has a fabulous roof terrace/garden with great views across the city towards the Acropolis!
