Satulah Mountain is one of the oldest mountains in the world and the first summer homes of Highlands were built on Satulah Mountain. This home that we call "Treehouse" is well appointed and has a fabulous, large 450 sq.ft. screened porch with views of Whiteside Mountain. The house is very secluded, having an approximate elevation of 4200 feet but is within walking distance to downtown (less than one mile from the Old Edwards Inn). Comfortably sleeps six plus a sofa bed in the downstairs playroom/office. Handicap accessible with an elevator.
Master bedroom has a king sized bed with a full bathroom and flat screen television. Second bedroom has a king sized bed and full bath with television. Third bedroom has two twin beds and full bath located in the hallway. There is a stereo system with speakers throughout the family room, kitchen, back deck and screen porch. It has a 200 CD changer, Ipod station dock and AM/FM tuner.
There is a terrific treehouse in the backyard for children to play in during their stay. The house is fully stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, linen, reading material, DVDs, CDs and board games. |
