We stayed at this cottage from Sept 29th until Oct 2nd 2011 for a surprise 50th for my husband which included a wine tour. There were 6 adults and we had a fabulous time. The cottage came with everything you could need and the cleanliness and comfort was undisputable.Everything was in good working order, and there were a selection of DVD's incase you forgot to bring any of your own. The developement on a whole is still in progress but looks to be an up and coming award winner. Lower pool and hot tub were very refreshing. Upper pool is just being finished off. Off the beaten path a bit, about 45min to Westbank (now Westside Kelowna) or Vernon depending upon how you choose to travel, but knowing this before heading out and grabbing your food and refreshments enroute you should have absolutely no troubles. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any one. We did a wine tour with Okanagan Wine tours, they also were fabulous...picked us up and dropped us off right at our door, just thought I would mention this in the event the distance from wine country has anyone thinking twice...never a good idea to drink and drive anyway :-) Highly recommend this place.

Amazing cottage with everything you could ask for. The owner Sue was very accomadating and very helpful. The cottage is beautiful at the top of the resort with a view of the lake and a forest in the backyard. The house was very clean upon arrival, with everything you need stocked well. The resort was very nice with lots to do. Guest services has many rentals such as kayaks, tennis raquets, mini golf etc. There is a dock where you can rent a space for you boat. Unfortunatley the grocery store and restaurants were closed during our stay, but groceries were a quick boat/drive away. Excellent cottage for a family trip! Loved the lake!

Listing description was accurate, this cabin is at the top of the La Casa property which gives you excellent views of the lake from the loft area and front deck. The La Casa property facilities were good, although the "store" was closed for the summer!!?? Walking on the property roads was interesting - young people, some in the age range of 10 - 14 years old drove golf carts around recklessely sometimes, while sharing the road with normal vehicles. The cabin is very nice and the lay out worked well for our group of 5 - three seperate sleeping areas. Unfortunately, the cabin is in need of upkeep and a good cleaning. Light bulbs were burnt out, interior door handles were loose and the garage door was a nightmare: it took multiple attempts to open/close every time. Under the back deck were over a dozen birds nests and wasp nests were formed over the back deck roof overhang. The cabin itself was filthy and we spent half a day cleaning when we arrived - the cleaning staff basically had only wiped the kitchen counter down and made the beds. Towels were still in the dryer and the hardwood floor had not been cleaned, we swept out large plies of dirt and had to wash the floor ourselves. That beind said, the owner was very friendly and promised the rectify the cleanliness aspect for future guests. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but our group was very disappointed with having to clean.

The owner was very helpful in providing all the relevant information regarding the retnal property. Response time was very quick and very friendly. Area is a new development and very accommodating for a group of people and a very beautiful spot in Kelowna on the west end.

Wonderful cottage on the Okanagan

The cottage photos and description were accurate. The cottage was lovely, a nice well equipped kitchen, cozy living area and three spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. It was handy having the washer/dryer. It was a long walk to the lake, so we rented a golf cart through guest services. This made it very convenient to get around. The facilities were wonderful, unfortunately the grocery store was closed so we had to drive to get groceries. The view from the deck of the lake is incredible! It was very quiet location, not much drive by traffic. I wish there had been boats, kayaks, etc on site to use or rent. The pool, mini golf and playground were great fun for our family. We would love to come back!

Great Place for small Family reunions

The cottage at La Casa is a great place to connect with friends &/or Family. It is spacious, well maintained and has practically everything that you need for a great vacation. The serenity and the breathtaking views add to the entire experience. The property is on top of a mountain and has a great patio for BBQ and taking in the sweeping views of the lake and mountains. The place is well stocked with crockery and cutlery for 8 people and has all the basics in place. All of the information listed on the listing is accurate. The beach is a little rocky but if you swim in the deeper waters, that does not matter. But there are spaces to sun bathe which are very comfortable and relaxing. i would recommend this property for a great getaway with friends or a large family. Just one thing: be cautious while driving to the resort in the evening or night.... but the resort makes up for that.

Fabulous May Long Weekend!

My partner and I live in different cities so we decided to meet about half way to celebrate his birthday. After a long search, we stumbled upon this beautiful cottage. It's a hidden gem - cozy home with a gorgeous view and reasonably priced. Short drive to the lake and Fintry Provincial Park. Watched the Canucks game at the Cantina - great service and friendly people. We had a great time and will definitely come back again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at your beautiful cottage, thank you so much for sharing it with us. We were delighted to find that it lived up to it's listing information. It has all the amenities, is very modern, comfortable and well maintained, the view is exceptional. We were travelling with 3 young pre-school aged chilren, the area was safe for them and they happily made use of the playground, mini-golf and pool. We were also lucky enough to see a family of Mountain Sheep on the drive in to the cottage. Thank you so much for answering all our questions, I would definitely recommend your cottage.

The cottage was excellent. It is located in a quieter part of the resort and we especially enjoyed sitting on the large deck over looking the lake. The cottage has everything you need (linens, towels, kitchen utensils, and a garage). The only thing that would have been nice to have that wasn't there would have been satellite TV but the weather was fantastic the whole time so we didn't spend much time indoors. The owners were really great to work with and we highly recommend renting from them.

My husband, daughter, and I rented this cottage with another family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well maintained and provides all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay. It's perfect for two families if you're looking to split the costs. The La Casa complex is great for families as it offers a variety of activities for kids. We would definitely stay here again!!

This was the perfect place for a family getaway. The cottage was well laid out, comfortable and the A/C was a treat in the hot Kelowna sun. The La Casa amenities helped to make our stay wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing!!! It has a fantastic view and wonderful surroundings (very peaceful). was in quit the bind and needed a place quick, for my group, that had an age range from, 6-65. Everyone had a wonderful time and the memories created here will last forever. On top of all that, the neighbours, were great too!!! I would/will definitely rent this place again.

We have been renting in the Okanagan for over ten years, and this is by far the most impressive accommodation that we have stayed at. The owners have made us feel comfortable and we will be renting their place from now own. Do yourself a favor and book now - you will not be disappointed!!!!!!
