Our family of four, including two teenagers, stayed in this condo for almost two weeks. The condo is essentially the upper floor of an older (historic? - 1800's) home in a quiet, modest neighborhood. The condo has been restored to maintain the integrity of the home for the era in which the house was built. The house has beautiful bric-a-brac, original hardwoods floors and old-world charm. The kitchen was amazing and included a gas Jenn-Aire stove/oven with 6 burners, stainless steel refrigerator, 2 inch granite countertops, garbage compactor, and was fully outfitted. The condo was immaculate when we arrived and furnished tastefully. A washer/dryer is available. It is a five minute drive to either the Albertson's or Costco; five minutes to the Gas Lamp district or the Zoo. Ten minutes to the harbor or the San Diego international airport. We enjoyed staying here so much that most nights we cooked dinner at the condo and enjoyed resting in this space. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks and would stay here again if we return to San Diego. We would also recommend it to friends who travel to San Diego.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The staff were extremely helpful, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean and spacious. It was a great stay and I thank the staff at this .The location is fabulous, walking distance to just about everything around the Gaslamp and dowtown area. My husband and I and my two brothers and their wives stayed here while visiting SD for my sister's birthday. Since we rarely get to see one another, it was great to all be together rather than in a hotel--and much less expensive too! Everyone in our family who stopped by had to take the "grand tour" and oooh'ed and aaaah'ed their way around the house. Things we especially liked in no particular order: good beds and pillows, lots of hangers, stylish furnishings, quality kitchen appliances, beautiful floors, with good restaurants in walking distance,

Everything my family and I could/would need was provided for us. We were met by the owner and got a full rundown on the property and how to really enjoy the house. We arrived at night and were excited to see the beautifully decorated living room and watch a movie in total comfort. During our stay we took advantage of the great kitchen. The local grocery store was just a few blocks away. The house is within ten minutes of everything! Coronado, Balboa Park, Zoo,Seaworld and the airport. Great value for my family of 6!
