Located in a quiet hillside neighborhood, the virtually new two bedroom, two bath cottage offers privacy in a beautifully manicured environment. Besides all regular sized appliances, this spacious cottage has skylights, a gas fireplace, an open floor plan with lots of natural light, and an attached garage. Linens, dishes and sundries are supplied, as well as a list of local restaurants and places to visit.
It is situated where you can breathe clean air and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. First you enter by its cobblestone driveway. Then out back there's a man-made bubbling brook/waterfall with gazebo sitting and level patio. Follow a cobblestone pathway and you will enter an exclusive neighboring community with city-block paved wheelchair accessible walkways. These lead along a canal and to a community college, or to a golf-cart accessible pathway that leads to local shopping, fairgrounds, hospital and the YMCA.
There are many activities to enjoy in the area: pristine hiking in national forests or county parks on the river and downtown, river rafting, world class fishing, art galleries, antiques, local wineries, music, theater and pleasant local restaurants. We can help make your visit a memorable and affordable one. Enjoy the area's activities or just have a nice long sit on the porch bird watching, reading or enjoying the peace and quiet.

Dan and Shirley Barklind have owned and managed regular rentals in the Grants Pass area for over 30 years. The idea of a vacation cottage occurred because they spend so much time abroad themselves and thus have met a lot of persons looking for furnished places to stay here in the Grants Pass area.
Why the Owner Chose Grants Pass
This cottage is located on a corner that offers it total easy access to the coastal highway or to local, lovely back roads. It has a unique backyard unlike any we've ever seen--which will cast a spell of relaxation over you as you take in it's water features, special landscaping and cobblestone walkways and driveway. It's a hop, skip and jump away from a golf cart or walking path that leads to shopping. No car is needed if you visit here!
