It's often referred to as "the Beverly Hills of Palm Springs ", it is the neighborhood full of movie star and celebrity homes. This gated and very private contemporary home is available for rent on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Check for price during holidays and high season.

There are 3 large bedrooms with king size beds and tvs (each bedroom has one), and 2 bathrooms. One bath has a separate tub plus a separate shower. The 2nd bath has a shower stall. A wonderful kitchen with flat screen tv with new appliances, granite countertops and new cabinetry. A very large great room with a large flat screen plasma tv (HD channels and HBO) and dining room opens with huge wall size glass doors (13 foot span when open) onto the private patio and pool area. Perfect for entertaining and inviting your guests over to impress them with where you are staying while in Palm Springs. (Total of 5 Flat screen tvs with hundreds of cable channels) Be sure to bring your Ipod. We have a stereo connection to ipod. Also there is a wireless speaker for the pool area.

Absolutely stunning views of the mountains and palm trees, unobstructed from power lines as Old Las Palmas is one of the few areas with underground utilities. Fruit trees and private ficus hedge surround this property, along with a wall and motorized gates. Notice the green grass? We have it seeded every year. There is nothing like the desert nights which are breathtaking as the crystal clear sky reveals millions of stars and the moon is like a spotlight. This home is like your own private resort oasis.

You´re centrally located in this property, close to all shopping, entertainment, famous restaurants, cafes, theaters and downtown.. The Palms Springs airport is 10 minutes away. Taxi cab is available or rental cars. Ontario airport is approximately 1 hour away and Los Angeles is 1 ½ to 2 hours away. Approximately 20 minutes away to the famous cabazon outlet stores with all the major designers and stores like St. John, Gucci, Prada, Waterford, Harry and David and more. Vrbo has just started a new "renter protection plan" instead of the renter having to leave a deposit. The cost is $39. Why the Owner Chose Old Las Palmas

Being "in the business", I know to buy ONLY in the best location. Old Las Palmas is THE neighborhood in Palm Springs. It is full of multi million dollar properties with unobstructed GORGEOUS views of the mountains. It is also centrally located and is walking distance to downtown. There are numerous businesses (restaurants, convience stores, shops, etc) close by.

The Unique Benefits at this House

I love this home because of the privacy factor. Right after I purchased this home, I had custom gates made for the driveway and side walk. Also, I allowed the hedge to grow so I would have total privacy in the front and the back. No one will know you're there.....it's that private. Also, the location is central to most everything. Your within 3 blocks of the new Rivera Resort and Spa. GREAT food and a fun place to go for drinks by the pool while sitting by firepits. You're also in walking distance of the famous coffee house called Koffi. This is a fun place to go on the weekend mornings, take the dogs for a walk and let them play in the grassy courtyard. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance including a great Tai restaurant to Denny's. (something for everyone).

Absolutely LOVE this house. The open air floor plan is awesome. The presentation upon arrival was gorgeous. This was a summer stay so we were happy to have and very impressed with the extensive, very classy, plastic ware (plates, silverware, serving platters, drinking glasses for every type of beverage imaginable). The pool chairs and chaise lounges were clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels provided! There was even an umbrella for the outdoor table, and rafts for the pool. Great landscaping - lovely mixture of grass, fruit trees and cactus. Everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and more! House was immaculate (so clean we stayed barefoot!) and bedrooms were attractive and spacious. Very private. Never heard a neighbor or street noise. One bathroom is tiny (not an issue) but the other is huge. Would love to bring my dog next time.

Unlike rentals that can sometimes be cold, we keep this home well supplied and stocked with not only necessities but luxuries (frontgate pool floats, hotel quality linens, towels, etc). Whether your'e drink of preference is a martini, margarita, champagne, wine or iced tea, we have a glass for indoors and plastic for poolside. Our housekeeper meets you upon arrival and yes, it's immaculately clean.

Amazing Amazing Amazing Stay

While the photos look great, it looks even better when you see it. The furniture is placed a bit differently and a few new bed linens - not much to improve on though. The decor is great with the perfect mix of new & vintage, and had many unexpected pieces to admire. We had several discussions about the architecture & decor. The landscape is lovely as well. We did a couples weekend with a group of 6 and it was fantastic. The house manager was there upon arrival to show us around and was so helpful and friendly. The place was well stocked with towels, dishes, pool toys and it has a great direct line BBQ, the beds were comfy as well. The place is just so relaxing. We had plans to go out on the town one night but were just enjoying ourselves so much we stayed in. In fact, we barely left the place all weekend. My husband and I had the bedroom with the private bath (the private bath is teeny-tiny) which I thought was going to be a bit of an issue as we are both quite tall but it was so completely fine. There is plenty of room for several people to cook, plenty of room to lounge. It has everything you need. I felt so comfortable, I wish it was MY house! LOVE IT! We will return!

We had the BEST time and the house was AMAZING! We all loved it and are already trying to put together a return trip for fall! The things that were the most amazing: how stocked the house was - everything that we needed was there as if it were lived in year round. No running out to buy this or that. We never even left the house once we got there! And the house was so comfortable and accomodating for everyone - even though there was only 1 "master" bedroom, each room really was set up as such. We had so much space and loved that all the furniture was so comfortable and up to date... nothing was 2nd rate. The openness and light were incredible - we all wished we could have stayed longer.

I had a girls weekend here for my 40th birthday. It was so relaxing and great to have someone meet us at the property. Hard to leave and highly recommend the property. You can't bet the privacy, location and comfort. Thank you again!

We recently stayed at Casa de Chuck and it was gorgeous!!! The weather was beautiful and the house had all the ammenities you need in a vacation rental! We even had grapefruit for breakfast from our very own tree in the yard! We are looking forward to staying here again, which will be soon! Chuck you are awesome, thanks for everything.

We just came back froma wonderfully relaxing trip to Palm Springs. The owners were extremely professional and organised and everything worked as plannend. All the pics promised turned out to be true. The house is very spacious, furnished with magnificent taste. We were three generations in the house ages 2-70 and all of us felt at home! Hope to stay there more often in the future!

Thanks Chuck and Craig, Your house was perfect for our small group of friends while staying in Palm Springs for Modernism Week. It was also good to be able to contact you directly prior to our visit to discuss the facilities. The house is in an excellent location, tastefully furnished, quiet and comfortable. The little extras in the cupboards, like spices, soaps etc, make it more like a home than a house rental. I would highly recommmend your house to anyone wanting to experience Palm Springs. Great Getaway

Enjoyed this house with my family for Thanksgiving, the home is private and well cared for in a great neighborhood; close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores and casino's. The kitchen is great - it was well stocked with anything and everything you would need to prepare a special meal. The home is very comfortable with many areas to relax but for me the greatest part of the house is the backyard. Glass doors roll back from the living area giving the house a great flow and create an indoor/outdoor space with the backyard. There is a gas grill, fruit trees, the pool was heated to a perfect temperature, the furniture surrounding the pool was clean and comfortable, and the views of the mountains were spectacular!! In addition, Marylyn and Chuck are so friendly and easy to deal with - just very accommodating. It was a great stay and I look forward to booking again in the spring. Thanks, Chuck!!
