My partner and I just returned form the best vacation!! The pictures do not do this place justice! It is in a great area, close to everything including downtown! Chuck ( the owner) could not have been nicer. The place was spot less when we arrived. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and the backyard is completely private. Best value for a mini gated estate in Las Palmas. Marilynn (the manager) was fantastic - even bringing over some lemons from her yard! Who does that?! These folks do - so be sure and snap this up fast!

While the photos look great, it looks even better when you see it. The furniture is placed a bit differently and a few new bed linens - not much to improve on though. The decor is great with the perfect mix of new & vintage, and had many unexpected pieces to admire. We had several discussions about the architecture & decor. The landscape is lovely as well. We did a couples weekend with a group of 6 and it was fantastic. The house manager was there upon arrival to show us around and was so helpful and friendly. The place was well stocked with towels, dishes, pool toys and it has a great direct line BBQ, the beds were comfy as well. The place is just so relaxing. We had plans to go out on the town one night but were just enjoying ourselves so much we stayed in. In fact, we barely left the place all weekend. My husband and I had the bedroom with the private bath (the private bath is teeny-tiny) which I thought was going to be a bit of an issue as we are both quite tall but it was so completely fine. There is plenty of room for several people to cook, plenty of room to lounge. It has everything you need. I felt so comfortable, I wish it was MY house! LOVE IT! We will return!

Owner response:Another 5 star review. thank you. The private bath has a shower (no tub). The main bathroom has a tub plus a separate shower stall. As you can see from this review and others, this is not just a typical rental, it's stocked and feels like a home.

Absolutely LOVE this house. The open air floor plan is awesome. The presentation upon arrival was gorgeous. This was a summer stay so we were happy to have and very impressed with the extensive, very classy, plastic ware (plates, silverware, serving platters, drinking glasses for every type of beverage imaginable). The pool chairs and chaise lounges were clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels provided! There was even an umbrella for the outdoor table, and rafts for the pool. Great landscaping - lovely mixture of grass, fruit trees and cactus. Everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and more! House was immaculate (so clean we stayed barefoot!) and bedrooms were attractive and spacious. Very private. Never heard a neighbor or street noise. One bathroom is tiny (not an issue) but the other is huge. Would love to bring my dog next time.

Unlike rentals that can sometimes be cold, we keep this home well supplied and stocked with not only necessities but luxuries (frontgate pool floats, hotel quality linens, towels, etc). Whether your'e drink of preference is a martini, margarita, champagne, wine or iced tea, we have a glass for indoors and plastic for poolside. Our housekeeper meets you upon arrival and yes, it's immaculately clean.

Palm Springs

We had the BEST time and the house was AMAZING! We all loved it and are already trying to put together a return trip for fall! The things that were the most amazing: how stocked the house was - everything that we needed was there as if it were lived in year round. No running out to buy this or that. We never even left the house once we got there! And the house was so comfortable and accomodating for everyone - even though there was only 1 "master" bedroom, each room really was set up as such. We had so much space and loved that all the furniture was so comfortable and up to date... nothing was 2nd rate. The openness and light were incredible - we all wished we could have stayed longer.

I had a girls weekend here for my 40th birthday. It was so relaxing and great to have someone meet us at the property. Hard to leave and highly recommend the property. You can't bet the privacy, location and comfort. Thank you again!

Owner response:We believe it's better to have our house manager meet you in person to check you in the property and show you around. Much better than chasing down keys and trying to figure things out. This property is DEFINITELY PRIVATE and Location is SUPERIOR.

This is a great house, well equipped, and in a great location. The check in service with a real live person was a plus as well.

Owner response:Location is supreme! You're very close to everything. We feel it's only right to check you in when you arrive instead of chasing down a key at a remote location. This way you can be shown around and answer all of your questions.

We just came back froma wonderfully relaxing trip to Palm Springs. The owners were extremely professional and organised and everything worked as plannend. All the pics promised turned out to be true. The house is very spacious, furnished with magnificent taste. We were three generations in the house ages 2-70 and all of us felt at home! Hope to stay there more often in the future!

We recently stayed at Casa de Chuck and it was gorgeous!!! The weather was beautiful and the house had all the ammenities you need in a vacation rental! We even had grapefruit for breakfast from our very own tree in the yard! We are looking forward to staying here again, which will be soon! Chuck you are awesome, thanks for everything.

Thanks Chuck and Craig, Your house was perfect for our small group of friends while staying in Palm Springs for Modernism Week. It was also good to be able to contact you directly prior to our visit to discuss the facilities. The house is in an excellent location, tastefully furnished, quiet and comfortable. The little extras in the cupboards, like spices, soaps etc, make it more like a home than a house rental. I would highly recommmend your house to anyone wanting to experience Palm Springs. We had a wonderful time in the house and would highly recommend to others. Our favorites: the wall of windows and sliders to the pool area, the mountain views from master bedroom and pool, very usable kitchen for xmas dinner, etc....it's a perfect location and well maintained home!

Great Getaway

Enjoyed this house with my family for Thanksgiving, the home is private and well cared for in a great neighborhood; close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores and casino's. The kitchen is great - it was well stocked with anything and everything you would need to prepare a special meal. The home is very comfortable with many areas to relax but for me the greatest part of the house is the backyard. Glass doors roll back from the living area giving the house a great flow and create an indoor/outdoor space with the backyard. There is a gas grill, fruit trees, the pool was heated to a perfect temperature, the furniture surrounding the pool was clean and comfortable, and the views of the mountains were spectacular!! In addition, Marylyn and Chuck are so friendly and easy to deal with - just very accommodating. It was a great stay and I look forward to booking again in the spring. Thanks, Chuck!!

Fabulous Home and Pool

I cannot say enough good things about this property! The house layout was perfect for 5 of us and each bedroom had such a comfy bed with luxury linens. The decor was spot-on for such a great mid-century style house. We enjoyed spending many hours in the pool and lounging poolside with cocktails in hand. The gated privacy of the house gave us the feeling that we were in our own little paradise. The location was perfect too - we were close to shopping and restaurants (including the Riviera resort which had a wonderful happy hour!). We will definitely be coming back to Palm Springs and staying here!

Owner response:The Riviera Resort is only 3 blocks away. Google Palm Springs Riviera Resort Hotel for more info. A great place for happy hour by the pool and firepits or lunch/dinner by the pool. Since this is our 2nd home, the 3 king size beds are all high end luxury sheets and pillows (not your typical vacation rental). perfect private vacation home

The home has an exceptional layout and flow, everyone felt like they had enough personal space and ample common space. The furnishings were sensable, with enough sofas, chairs and loungers for everyone and then some, all very thoughtfully set up to never feel cramped or overcrowded. The kitchen was in great shape very easy to cook in with ample pots and pans. The pool, though on the smaller size was heated and very enjoyable to soak in, and the surrounding patio had great lounging areas. Overall a wonderful and very private home we felt very comfortable in the moment we arrived.

From the moment you walk in you can feel yourself relaxing. House has all the comforts of home and then some. This place is a perfect Palm Springs getaway home! Just spent the weekend here on a girls trip and we couldn't have found a more lovely and well stocked home to call our own for a few days. It had everything we needed and then some - extra towels, plenty of cookware and dishes... the cupboards are even stocked with spices, tin foil, and all of those things you usually need to bring to a rental yourself. Extremely comfortable and had a gorgeous, spacious layout. Excellent price point. Highly recommended.

This home is BEAUTIFUL! You only need to bring your clothes. The owners have thought of everything. We can't say enough about the privacy, cleanliness and peace and tranquility. When I walked in this home, all I could say is "WOW". My first eyeopening in the morning was to the most beautiful colored mountains against sky blue. We enjoyed everything about this home, the space, the appliances, the gas grill, the pool and the fresh pink grapefruits we picked for breakfast and margaritias! We can't wait to return next year. If you are looking for peace, privacy and a stunning mountain view-this is the place.

Wonderful holiday in Palm Springs. Stayed at this property for four nights. The living area is a wall of windows that open to the pool making it a great place to relax and enjoy. Bedrooms are very large. House was immaculate, linens were great. Host Chuck was most accomodating. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous holiday!!! Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, stylish and immaculately clean home situated in the very interesting and elegant Old Las Palmas neighbourhood. We loved shopping the nearby food shops ( a special treat was the weekly Farmers Market! ) and creating yummy meals in the well- designed and well-equipped kitchen. The beautiful pool off the bright and spacious living area was a source of much sun, fun and relaxation! We love this house... and Chuck and his assistant are the perfect hosts. As I write this, we are making plans for our next visit...Enjoy!

It doesn't get much better than this!!! We had the most relaxing week staying at this home. The home has a great floor plan, is exceptionaly clean and sits on a large private lot. Sitting poolside with the mountain view was perfect! The owners were extremely pleasant and effecient. We are looking forward to our next stay and have refered several friends.
