Shorecrest II is a Bahamian style three bedroom, two bath home located direct oceanfront on Great Guana Cay. Our home is situated on a 25’ dune. It is forty feet from our porch to our steps to the beach, allowing for beautiful views of the crystal clear blue ocean and the sugar-sand 5 mile beach. World famous, Nipper's bar/restaurant is a 15 minute walk along the beach.
Our home is a Bahamian style two story with the second floor consisting of a king bedroom, a bath, a family room with a 8’ sliding door opening to a 12’x12’ deck. It is a great area to relax, read a book, listen to music and view and listen to the ocean. The first floor has two bedrooms, a bath, a full kitchen and a living room. Offshore 300 feet is a barrier reef, offering excellent snorkeling.
Guana Cay’s settlement has a well stocked grocery store, a liquor store and several restaurants. Dive Guana operates a dive shop for diving, snorkeling, and boat, kayak, golf cart and bicycle rental.
Our home is located approximatly one mile from the settlemnt. We have none of noise of the beach bars, people coming to visit Nipper's and Grabbers or are we located next door to a resort. We have no home to the south of us for approximately 1500' feet allowing for private sun bathing. Sun bathing on the upper deck is private as we have a wall to the north side.

We first stayed in our home the eve of New Year's 2000. We have been renting our home since 2000 with many returning guests. We hope you enjoy your stay at our home.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We enjoy coming to Shorecrest II where we spend time enjoying the ocean from both our upper deck and our porch, working around our home to maintain it, and enjoying the privacy our home offers.

Wonderful Family Vacation-- A Trip to Remember!

Our stay at Shorecrest II was fantastic! Ernie's home was amazing! The kitchen is fully equipped and everything was in great working order. The views from the house were simply breathtaking. Ernie & Dolly had thought of every need we might have during our stay, including having boogie boards for my kids. A family favorite was to watch the sun rise from the deck- just gorgeous. We built sand castles, grilled out, snorkeled, took long walks on the beach and ate way too many conch fritters- we could not have asked for a better vacation. The pictures don't do justice to the home or ocean- it is truly paradise! The logistics of our trip went perfectly. Ernie was so easy to work with in renting the house, and once on the island Troy and Maria made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend renting Shorecrest II to anyone who wants to spend a week in paradise.

Wanting to avoid the all-inclusive black hole, my wife and I found and booked Shorecrest as a last-minute get away. We were a little nervous about what to expect, as there weren’t many reviews here and it seemed too good to be true. It wasn’t. It was amazing. The house is beautifully maintained… clean and cozy. It looks better than all the pictures here. It feels private and relaxed, but Nippers and the settlement are only a 10 minute bike ride away. The beach right in front of the house is a bit rocky in spots, but beautiful and comfortably swimmable. And the weather was great, even in February. Booking with Ernie was a breeze and the on-site assistance of Troy and Maria was great – we were picked up from the ferry and had lots of help and advice figuring out how to settle in. With the two legs of the flight and the ferry from Marsh Harbour, it’s definitely a bit of a trek if you’re used to a one-flight trip, but well worth it if you appreciate a real community feel and a beautiful landscape. We’ll be back for sure.
