I spent 2.5 months at the property last summer and it was great. Enjoyed sitting on the dock with a glass of wine and feeding the turtles. Just a few blocks from Port Charlotte golf course. Had everything I needed including coffee and laundry detergent. It was a last minute decision to move in so the owner had her housekeeper come clean for me while I was there. The pictures are accurate. I have already recommended it to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners.

Condition of property inside and outside, very poor. When we arrived we spent an entire day cleaning inside and windows. We also repaired two plumbing problems. Landlord deducted monies from our deposit that was unjustifiable.Owner response: Unfortunately, we experienced a hot water heater malfunction during one of our tenants stay. Tenant was compensated financially, accordingly with a credit toward move out expenses. We try to be fair and accommodating to all our guests. Life happens, and we do the best to make everyone comfortable. Most guests request repeat bookings - which we take as a compliment. Our home is fully furnished with maid service, if requested, along with all supplies to accommodate a "home away from home" feeling. In the many years we have offered this property for short term rental, we have had nothing but positive feedback and repeat requests for occupancy. We thank all our guests, both past and future for your comments (good or bad)
