We're just 10 walking minutes away from the next subway station which will bring you within about 20 minutes to the center of Munich. There is absolutely no car required and recommended because it is quite stressful to find a parking slot in a city that you do not know. The same subway system can bring you to the Alps and with the attached railroad system wherever you want to go. Explore Germany and it's neighbors without a car and you will have the relaxation you are looking for - and it is most of the time faster if you do NOT use a car.
