Our Amelia Landings condominium is a quiet, relaxing get-away, but it is close to Amelia Island's white sand beaches and shopping. Walk to the beach two blocks away on our private walkway. The condo features two bedrooms and two full baths with a large private balcony overlooking lush tropical landscaping around a large pond. After a morning in the sun, move back to our shady, secluded deck. Nearby, there's a children's playground, tennis courts, and swimming pool.

This second floor apartment is fully furnished and equipped as if it were your home. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, large closet, and connecting bath. The second bedroom has twin beds, a large closet, and adjacent bath. The living room has comfortable seating for reading and watching TV, and the large dining table seats 6, giving room for long, leisurely meals, and puzzle-solving evenings. There are games, books, CDs, DVDs, and videos.
This is perfect for a couple wanting a relaxing get-away, but also great for a small family. It is quiet here, but Disney World and Sea World are only 3 hours away!
Amelia Island's beautiful beaches are perfect for sunning, relaxing, swimming, walking, shelling, and building sand castles. If you wish to be more active, go hiking, biking, fishing, birding, snorkeling/diving, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, jet skiing, or shopping! Golf at one of a number of local courses; tour museums or historic sites, or visit Cumberland Island; try a new restaurant every night; play tennis or miniature golf.
Take a cruise up and down the Amelia and Nassau Rivers! Watch the sunset from the Fernandina Beach Marina. Go horseback riding on the beach! Go marsh kayaking! There are plenty of museums and cinemas for rainy-day amusement. There are plenty of antiques shops, too! You will find history and nature trails in nearby state parks including Fort Clinch State Park, Amelia Island State Park, and Talbot Island State Park. Or, just go to "downtown" Fernandina Beach, get an ice cream cone, and watch the people!

- Shared Pool: A large in-ground, Olympic-sized pool is near our building. The beautiful pool area is fenced, with umbrellas, tables, lounge chairs, and bathroom. A sand shower is also located in the pool area for rinsing off people and chairs after beach time. Pool passes are provided to guests.

- Full Kitchen: Electric range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, ice maker, toaster, under-counter coffee pot, and garbage disposal are included. A built-in wet bar is in the dining area.

- Charcoal BBQ Grill: Below, near the pond, is a grill and picnic table for your use. There is another barbeque area near the pool. The fire code prohibits grilling on the deck.
- Balcony: The deep lanai/balcony extends the full width of the apartment, with access from the master bedroom and living room. Comfortable porch furniture and two ceiling fans make this a second living room. Beach chairs, a beach cart and an umbrella are stored in the porch closet for your use on the beach.
- View/Location
- Water View: The balcony overlooks the pond at the back of our condo. It is a peaceful scene, but if you watch long enough, you will see the turtle "family," and spy the heron fishing early in the morning. Lately, there have been otter sightings! The surrounding live oak and magnolia trees are full of birds.
- Communications
- Telephone (2) : Cordless phones include call waiting and an answering machine.
- Free Long Distance: Cell phone reception is pretty good here, but a phone is provided. Free long-distance service is provided for calls throughout the U.S. and Canada.
- Broadband Internet: If you MUST stay connected while on vacation, you may do it here. We have Comcast DSL - bring your own laptop.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): WiFi is available nearby at Starbucks or MacDonalds. Also, WiFi is often accessed via a neighbor's connection (non-password-protected).
- Other Amenities
- This property is build beneath ancient Live Oaks, so it is shady and quiet. The trees, especially near the pond, are full of birds. The pool and tennis courts are free for owners and guests. Walk 5-10 minutes to the beach along a shady path.

- Kid Friendly: Puzzles and games, videos and computer access are provided in the condo. The large pool is nearby, and the beach is only a short walk away. There is a new bike rack nearby.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: I do not rent to anyone under 21. Young people must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
