The Lodge At Beech home is spectacular! I knew it would be nice based on the pictures and descriptions, however, the place is breathtaking in person. When we arrived the home was spotless and in pristine condition. Our group consisted of 11 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to lounge and watch tv, play video and board games, eat, and sleep. We loved the large tvs, huge open rooms, wet bars, and gas fireplaces (we even played a little joke on some late arrivers--told them they were voice activated and hid the remote up my sleeve, quite humorous). The kitchen and dining areas were perfect for our group. A few of the men got in the kitchen every morning and whipped up a lovely breakfast, which was almost even better than the kitchen itself (having the men in the kitchen, not the breakfast, haha). Two ski resorts, Sugar and Beech, are conveniently close and we had a great time skiing at both. Our last day we got a beautiful blanket of snow which made the mountain and surrounding trees even more stunning. Many thanks for opening this little piece of heaven up for everyone! We have made some lasting memories.

It is an honor to be the first guests not only to comment on this beautiful cabin but to stay in this beautiful cabin. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we made the right decision. From the huge Plasma TV's (everywhere!)to the very large Jacuzzi tub in the Master bathroom to the breathtaking views it was all more than we could ask for. We could go on and on about the wonderful accommodations but we wanted to make a few comments about the owner as that is equally important as this cabin. From our first conversation to our last, they were kind, sincere and truly concerned about every aspect of our stay. They provided every accommodation that you could think of and we were not just "renters" to him but we felt like friends of the family staying at his home away from home. Suffice to say, our vacation and Christmas dreams came true. From skiing (on the bunny slopes:)to the children snow tubing (my 6 year old was the last one off the mountain Christmas eve:), We will always remember Christmas 2007. The Robey Beech Mountain home is spectacular! I knew it would be nice based on the pictures and descriptions, however, the place is breathtaking in person. When we arrived the home was spotless and in pristine condition. Our group consisted of 11 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to lounge and watch tv, play video and board games, eat, and sleep. We loved the large tvs, huge open rooms, wet bars, and gas fireplaces (we even played a little joke on some late arrivers--told them they were voice activated and hid the remote up my sleeve, quite humorous). The kitchen and dining areas were perfect for our group. A few of the men got in the kitchen every morning and whipped up a lovely breakfast, which was almost even better than the kitchen itself (having the men in the kitchen, not the breakfast, haha). Two ski resorts, Sugar and Beech, are conveniently close and we had a great time skiing at both. Our last day we got a beautiful blanket of snow which made the mountain and surrounding trees even more stunning. Many thanks Dan for opening this little piece of heaven up for everyone! We have made some lasting memories.
