Immerse yourself in the graciousness of this circa 1864 historic two - story house. This house was originally built by a railroad clerk for his family during the heyday of Savannah's railroading. It was completely restored by a local artist in 2004 and converted into two spacious single family Condos. This house is located just steps away from Forsyth park where you can pick up one of the guided trolley tours.
It is convenient to sightseeing such as the Mercer-Williams house (Midnight in the Garden), the four star Mansion hotel and restaurant, fine art allergies, boutiques, restaurants, the civic center, city market and SCAD buildings. It is perfect for local events such as the Jazz/Blues festival (September 23-30, 2007), Picnic in the park (October 8, 2007) both at Forsyth park, BBQ and Blues (September 9-10, 2007) at the Roundhouse (historic railroad station). It is convenient to the Savannah film Festival (October 28-November 3, 2007), Folk Music festival (October 13- 14). There is also weekly music at City market and First Saturday on Riverstreet.

You can enjoy the private double well-landscaped courtyard which features wrought iron furniture, table, chairs and an electric grill.
The saavy interior of the bedrooms will provide a comfortable nights rest. The master bedroom has a period mahogany queen bedroom set with his and her dressers, silk oriental rugs, fireplace (decorative), ceiling fan and closet. Bedroom two has an antique deluxe twin spindle and trundle bed(s), comfortable for two people. The bathroom has the original pine flooring, a custom-made marble shower, pedestal sink and large mirrored medicine cabinet, it also features artful touches.
A picnic basket, blanket, and small cooler are provided to take a walk to the park for a picnic or short ride to the beach. Two bikes are available to tour the historic area.
