  I stayed at Chalets #12 with my 3 daughters and wife. We had a great time. The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We LOVED the outdoor accomadations and spent many hours outside enjoying the tropical weather.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

  Our stay in Puerto Rico was magical, in part because of our “base camp” located in Dorado. The house is perfectly situated for day trips to San Juan, Fajardo (Bio bay, scuba diving), Barcelloneta (Premium Outlets), and Orocovis (Zip lines). We found the house to be as described, very clean and very quiet. The kitchen area was small, (only one person could be in it), but the majority of cooking was done on the grill which is situated next to the outside dinner table. Being from the north I was certainly grateful for the window air conditioning units, the noise from them took some getting used to though. The gated community is both a positive and a hassle. The feeling of security was genuine knowing how hard it was to gain access. Even with the owners alerting the guards, and me providing them with my information (name, address of the house, and the owner’s name) we still found it difficult to gain access. Walgreens is a 2 minute walk from the house, perfect for snagging the small “at home” comfort items, and for getting any film developed. We ate at Ponderosa the first night, I do not recommend it unless necessary, and Morena the last night, which I highly recommend. I also highly recommend spending at least two days exploring San Juan, taking the pedestrian ferry from Catano is a definite plus. We will definitely return, seven days allows for limited activities and only scratches the surface of discovering Puerto Rico.

  Just got back from a trip to Puerto Rico and had a trip of a lifetime. It was a family trip of four and had more than enough room to spread out and relax. Beautiful beaches at both the Embassy Suites and the local public beach. We were fortunate enough to meet the Embassy's Food and Beverage manager and was able to utilize all amenities at the hotel. Golf Excellent! Turquois Blue Waters of the Atlantic, Excellent Restaurants and a great time had by ALL!!!! Thank you Torres's for sharing your great home! We will certainly return when we get back to the island.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this home. It is comfortable and was even better than advertised. The location is perfect to enjoy all that Puerto Rico has to offer and very convenient to San Juan, stores, highways, golf and restaurants. My only complaint was lack of internet service (though my wife was happy that I was kept away from work!). We would definitely make a return visit.

  We would highly recommend this property to anyone. After just leaving I wish I could wake up and be back sitting on the patio with a cool drink in my hand. The property location was great with just about everything we would need within a 5-15 walk away. We had rented a mini-van (for 6 adults) but you may not even need it if all you need is relaxation, spend time eating, drinking and you need a great place to do it in. The unit was clean, the furnishings well chosen and comfortable with just about everything you will need. The owner Augusto and his parents were the perfect hosts and ready to help you on any matter. Recommendations: - Grappa Restaurant: address: Mendez Vigo St # 247, Dorado, Puerto Rico for a lovely eating experience. - The Embassy Suites: allows access for you, is right next door for family pools, beach and restaurants etc. - The Bacardi Rum factory tour ... Again highly recommended by our group.

  Ever night you felt like you were going home.Relaxing sitting in the wonderful backyard ever night. Walking if you wanted to the beach and Embassey resort, shopping available 24 hrs.local restuarants within 1 mile, what more can I say.just go and you'll never want to leave. Oh P.S. The caretakers are like your mom and dad.They can't do enough for you.

  This is a great place to stay if you like privacy and room. Conviently located in the area of Dorado. You are able to travel west, east on hwy 22 to see the attraction that Puerto Rico has to offer. San Juan is just up the street. We had a great time and hope to back in the near future. It was a pleasure to stay at this residence. Thank you Augusto Sr, it was a pleasure to have met you. If you folks are ever in this part of the world Salt Lake City, Utah, give me a call.   My family truly enjoyed our week stay at this property. All the amenities of home with wide open spaces, good sized bedrooms and tropical decor set the mood for the type of stay we were truly seeking. Convenient to supermarkets, restaurants, a casino and oh, of course palm tree lined beaches were within the gated community grounds or just a few short blocks outside the gates. The surrounding neighborhood was peaceful, clean and offered easy access to highway entrances which we used daily on our journeys exploring the island. Augusto did a great job preparing the house and always returned our calls. Only one television in the livingroom provided little separation and more family time in the evenings and combined with the adjacent outdoor covered patio provided more living space. I enjoyed sitting under the outdoor covered patio listening to the coqui's (small frogs that made noise at night) while a heavy downpour of rain soaked the area. I truly felt I was relaxing in a tropical rain forest. It was quite relaxing and we would stay there again.

  The first impression on the warm and very green island was beautiful and confirmed during our two weeks P.R. stay. After a long fly from the really cold Germany we reached San Juan packed on by a strong jet lack. In the sunset hour we reached the house completely tired. A feeling of coming down to a lovely place gave us the very warm welcome by the owner’s parents. They carried about us like own parents and offered additional help. We developed our living rituals in this chosen beautiful and very charming house. It was stylish and functional inside and outside the chalet. Dorado is a great location and a well located starting point for all activities we made. It was very impressed to discover old San Juan along the coast road from Dorado via the town ferry from sea side. We loved the beach two car minutes from our place. The supermarket nearby was very convenience for daily life shopping. We enjoyed our holiday very much. Thank you, Augusto and Evelise, for offering your very luxury, comfortable and cosy house and service. For our next P.R. holidays we will chose your chalet again.
