Very spacious (600 sq. ft.) master suite with a king size metal sleigh bed and a love seat in the sitting area, cherry queen set in the second bedroom, and pine bunk beds in the third bedroom. Decorated in rich jewel and earth tones, the cabin features a luxurious brown LEATHER SOFA SET in the living room. Not gas, but a REAL STONE FIREPLACE to cuddle up in front of on cold nights. View nature from the spacious two levels of wrap around covered decks on three sides of the log house.
A wonderful place to get away from it all. Leave the city behind and enjoy being close to nature and many fun activities. At night, when everything else is quiet, you can listen to the Little Tennessee River rush by. Walk to the river (1/2 mile away) and go fishing or tubing. Go golfing, antique hunting, go carting, or gem mining in Franklin. Take a drive to the train station in Dillsboro, Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, or to the many beautiful waterfalls in the surrounding area.
Or, just stay home and read a book in the upstairs sitting area, have tea in the four rocking chairs on the side porch, barbeque and have a picnic at the new picnic table on the other side porch. Relax on the front deck as you watch the sun set over the mountains. In the morning, watch the sunrise through the large loft master bedroom windows.

We chose this location because we kept coming to this area and fell in love with the natural setting, the ease of access to our property, and the proximity to lots of fun places in Western North Carolina. We also love to relax and watch the beautiful sunsets and the wildlife go by as we sit on the deck overlooking the mountains and our 4 acre property.

We also have two wrap around decks, one with gates at the end to help contain pets when they want to enjoy the beautiful North Carolina weather. My husband and I just returned from Franklin, North Carolina after spending a week in that beautiful area. The best part of our week was having the luxury of renting a place there referred to as a "cabin". That was anything but a "cabin" - it was a beautiful log home with everything you could want in it, along with a fabulous deck all the way around, and the most comfortable wooden chairs for watching the sunsets over the mountains. The loft was my favorite place with lovely oak firniture and a bed to die for! We would stay there again - and again.

from the moment you enter this home, you are taken by the cathedral ceiling & large rectangle windows offering a panoramic and breathtaking view of the mountains. The large stone fireplace offers warmth and a sense you have arrived home. The kitchen is well appointed with all necessary cooking ware. The beds are comfortable and nicely dressed. A french door opens to the large deck occupied by rocking chairs. This home offers a comfy, serene, and inviting stay. Thanks, Dawn!!!! We will return....

Great cabin centrally located between Bryson City & Franklin ~ the cabin was clean, neat, comfortable, well appointed, and beautiful! Very private but not isolated, and a perfect size for our crew. Nice to have 2 bathrooms AND the washer/dryer. The views are awesome! We had a fantastic time tubing, gem mining, hiking, mountain biking (Tsali Recreation area rocks!), and just hanging out in the middle of nature in this picturesque cabin! Dawn, we appreciate that your photos, descriptions and comments about the property accurately represent your lovely cabin home. My husband, daughter, son-in-law, 3 children and myself spent 4 wonderful nights in this lovely mountain home. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean and decorated beautifully, the kitchen was easy to prepare meals and fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc.. We enjoyed evenings and mornings sitting on the deck and looking at the view. There is so much to do in the area we never had a dull moment. The owners were more than accommodating, easy to reach and so nice to rent from. We will definitely stay there again when we need to rent in Franklin.

What a wonderful cabin with beautiful views and all of the comforts of home. The N.O.C. provided great river adventures and Willy's Rest. in Franklin had the best chicken we have ever eaten. We would stay here again. It was truly relaxing and rejuvenating. Don't pass this cabin by.
