We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and just had a wonderful time. The cabin is clean, well kept, comfortable and great for a small family. We had our 15 month old with us and once we moved the amazing quantity of knickknacks out of the way the place was perfect. Reasonable price, clean and well kept, nicely supplied...just bring your food and you are good to go. The best condo we've ever rented, no question.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Everything was exactly how described and reflected in the photos. We enjoyed ourselves 100 percent. The cabin was so cute and everything was there that we needed. The fireplace worked great which my husband appreciated(he loves his wood heat). We explored the south side of Mt St Helens which had so many hiking trails to chose from. It was great having a home base so close to all the activities we wanted to do. I was lucky to meet the owner and I got to meet her wonderful dachshund family(they were sooooo darling). We would stay there again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

This was the perfect get away from the kiddos, just the two of us. However, I'm planning another trip back taking them along next time as I know they'd love it. This cabin had everything in it, even complimentary tea, movies and games. All you have to do is bring your food! It rained our whole trip so we couldn't see the mountain, but we couldn't care less knowing we had such a nice cabin to go back to! Such a nice place to escape from all the craziness of life! Thank you to the beautiful couple who allow the rest of us a nice getaway!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We only spent one night here but would have loved to stay longer. This cabin is the perfect size--small and cozy yet roomy. The fireplace keeps it nice and toasty! We appreciated the movie selection, too. Tucked away in the woods, feels very private. Beautiful views of the lake and the mountain (on a clear day). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

About the owner: Dan is a Fire Commissioner for our Local Area as well as a Flood Control Director, and is very involved in community projects. Lee is self employed in her own Doll Shop in her home, she takes in dolls to repair and fix as well as dolls that need a good home. They are raising several Daschunds, they also have 6 children with 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. We love get togethers of all kinds and you can usually find us BBQ nearby in the summer with Family and Friends.
Why the Owner Chose Mount St Helens:
Dan was raised in this area, and we moved back to this area early on and raised our children. When property became available near us, we felt that there was such a need for a nice cozy cabin for people to stay that were visiting our area.
We have really enjoyed doing this, we have met and made many good friends from all over the world including the Queen of Englands Page and lady in waiting.
If you are ever in the area, stop by and look us up, we would love to meet you.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The amazing views are breath taking of Mt. St. Helens over Silverlake, the wildlife that comes right to the cabin door, the peace and serenity that surround you, a complete and romantic stay will be one that you will never forget.
