We stayed here for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the home. The house is located in a nice safe neighborhood. There is a Starbucks and grocery store within walking distance (6 minutes) as well as a Philz Coffee and Safeway within a 5 minute drive. Stanford Hospital/campus/clinics was only a 10-15 minute drive. We found the home to have everything we needed including nice cookware, a high chair, pack n play, and even toys that our daughter (16 month old) could play with. We had no problems with the home, but the owner was readily available. The beds and sofa were comfortable, with good water pressure in the shower. The living room gets plenty of light with the big windows. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to families traveling in the area. Downtown Palo Alto and Mountain View have plenty of nice restaurants and are a quick drive.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We stayed here for post-surgical recovery after release from Stanford hospital. The home was close and convenient to Stanford medical offices and hospital. Savemart and Whole Foods nearby. The home suited our needs for space and had the basic amenities we needed for a lengthy stay namely cooking and laundry capabilities. The best feature was the back deck which gave us the chance to enjoy the beautiful afternoon weather and evening bbq. Our teenage children also took advantage of the bicycles and enjoyed a ride. The bicycles were in good operating order. The rest of the house was blah and in need of maintenance. The home though surface clean was in need of a deep cleaning and organizing (for example the lower cupboards were dirty and disorganized). The garage was being used by the owner though we only spoke twice in a week which was awkward rather than welcoming. The owner quickly responded to texts and emails during the making and ending of the contract.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

We stayed in the house for 10 days in June 2010. This house is in a very peaceful and relaxing neighborhood! Two yards in front of and behind the house make it so nice and enjoyable for the summer! The house is fully "equipped" with all needed, and Safeway is 5 min drive away!Recommended for: Pet owners, people with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
