NAKISKA LODGE VACATION RENTAL guests most often say, "WOW" when they come in. Custom details and thoughtful planning make this a great home in the mountains for you. The large fireplace dominates the living room and will provide great ambiance on winter evenings. The center of the house includes the kitchen/dining/living spaces. With two dining tables and a kitchen bar for eating and visiting, your group can spread out.
Two of the bedrooms share a bath with a toilet, tub/shower, and two sinks. The master bedroom has access to the deck. The bathroom off the master bedroom has a steam shower, a jetted tub, two sinks and a separate toilet and sink compartment. This bathroom is also accessible to the rest of the guests through the laundry room. Call us for details and a link to the floor plan.
More space is in the loft with two couches (one a sleeper sofa) and TV. The separate playroom is also here - a large carpeted space with toys and a Nordic Trac. In case you aren't getting enough exercise!
Wrap around decks give more living space in moderate weather. The owners met while white water paddling. That interest is evident in the deck railings inside and out. The banisters are stylized canoe paddles. Those same paddles surround the stairs and loft inside. They're made of cherry and walnut. The steps to the loft are finished cherry slabs with the bark left on the bottom. Unique!
Jon and Janet and their two boys live in Winter Springs, FL. They spend several weeks here and enjoy the energy their guests bring to the house during the rest of the time.
