Relax at our beautiful new lake home with expansive yard on a private peninsula in Cobb Cove, Lake Palestine. Enjoy napping in the hammock, reading on the covered deck or downstairs porch, conversing in the comfortable yard swing or taking a walk through the private neighborhood. Great fishing is available from your own private pier and the sunrise is breathtaking.
Our recommendation - particularly in fall, winter and spring: prepare a feast with the whole family and then settle in around the gas fireplace or out on the deck with the cool evening air and bright stars above. If you happen to be here during a full moon, take a late night ride in the kayak to complete your day.
The house is a perfect romantic retreat for a couple needing some time together. 3400 square feet of heated and cooled space is perfect for the family getaway or a small retreat. And the beautiful, sloped lawn can easily accommodate a wedding party or family reunion.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Spring 2009 weekend rate: Friday, Saturday, all day Sunday: $750
(stay Sunday night for only $100 extra with Friday, Saturday booking)
Monday through Thursday nights, $265 per night, 2 night minimum.
Summer 2009: We want to start with weekly bookings Friday thru Thursday,
6 nights: 1,600; Friday through Friday, 7 nights: $1,800. We'll take
shorter reservations closer to Summer 2009. $80 Cleaning Fee.
Wonderful property for reunions, conferences, weddings.
Holidays, 3-4 night minimum: $400 per night or call for special pricing.

I can’t think of a thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable. Everything was just wonderful—so much room to either read, watch TV, play games or whatever any one of us was in the mood to do, and of course, just sitting and looking at the water was wonderful. We were certainly blessed with beautiful weather to do that!!!
