We stayed in this beautiful condo almost two weeks last November and had the best time. The place is light, modern, spacy and absolutely spotless. The ground floor condo with the huge lawn in front of the lanai was perfect for our two girls. They could run in and out all the time. The condo is very well-equipped with beach chairs, lots of towels, sand toys, boogie boards and snorkel gear. We also liked all the good travel guides and games. For us it was the perfect location: close to all good surf spots, to Hanalei with all the restaurants and we love "Hideways" beach for snorkeling, which is walking distance. We highly recommend a boat trip along the Napali Coast - absolutely stunning!
Owner response:Aloha Kathrin, Thanks for your very nice review. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay and our condo. We look forward to having you and your family stay with us again in the future! Mahalo, Jeff

We spent a week at this 2 bedroom/2 bath condo - it was perfect for 5 of us (2 kids). Location was ideal for visiting the numerous beaches, and close to golf, shopping and eating out. We cook quite a bit too. It was quiet and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Pali Ke Kua. We plan to go again next year!!

This unit is great! I would highly recommend it. The location was perfect because the complex is on the cliffs so we could walk out our patio door to go watch the prettiest sunsets. The private beach we could walk to was awesome as well. The unit itself is decorated very well and was spotless. We couldn't have stayed at a better place. Everything we needed for the beach was provided so it helped that we didn't have to buy everything while we were there. The kitchen was fully equipped too. The pictures on the web accurately reflected the condo's appearance and the owner and management company were great to work with. Hanalei is a quaint town and the beaches are amazing. We especially loved Tunnels Beach. And make sure you hike at least the first two miles of the Napali Coast trail. Spectacular! Queen's Bath is really neat and the Dolphin Restaurant in town has great sea food. Have fun!

We look forward to returning! On our first vacation with our 8 month old daughter, we felt right at home in this clean, modern, airy and light-filled unit. Plenty of room, tons of windows, comfortable furniture, recessed lighting, ceiling fans - lots of details that made us want to linger in the mornings and just listen to the sound of the birds on the property, and the waves crashing at the bottom of the cliffs. Kitchen is fully stocked and updated, and we LOVED the huge shower nook in the master bath. Lots of naps on the daybed, and enjoyed perusing all the games, books and other goodies found in the many cabinets. Having snorkel and beach gear on hand was also a huge simplifier!! Princeville is a beautiful area to call home base - and charming Hanalei is only 5 minutes away by the most scenic drive you'll ever find. You'll love it here, it's so peaceful and private!

We had an amazing Christmas vacation at Pali Ke Kua 136. The condo is lovely and has tons of amenities we so appreciated such as beach towels, boogie boards, a well-equipped kitchen for lots of cooking, and even a little cooler to pack a picnic lunch. Another hugely convenient bonus was the laundry facilities in the bathroom. It is also close to Hanalei bay, one of the most beautiful places on the planet, as well as great hiking and kayaking. Thank you so much for your generosity and hopefully we'll be back sooner rather than later.

We just returned from a fabulous one week summer vacation at PKK 136! The condo is tastefully updated and decorated with classy Hawaiian-island flair. It was very comfortable for our little family of four (including two girls aged 7 1/2 and almost 6 at the time of this writing). It provided a great base for our Garden Island adventures...amazing ocean and Bali Hai views just out of the lanai, wildlife watching, fantastic snorkeling at the property's own private beach and just short drives to other fun activities in Kauai. There is also a great supermarket, Foodville, just minutes away to help stock the kitchen (don't forget to get the Makai card for discounts). It made for great Kauai vacation memories that we will cherish for a long time...we will be back soon!

We visited PKK136 in September 2008 and found the unit to be very comfortable. The recent upgrades/remodeling really make the unit a great place to stay. We will be back next year!

My Husband and I stayed at this condo last June 2007 on our Honeymoon. We fell in love with the location. The condo is very spacious and very clean. Its almost a year later and we still talk about this place - if it was at all possible we would purchase a place just like it. The condo is perfectly situated overlooking the bluffs, we spend everynight sitting outside watching the sun set. There is a trail that goes to the beach; we went to pretty much all the beaches in Kuai and this beach had the best snorkeling, we even saw a 5 foot black tip shark! Princeville is very beautiful and peaceful. There is a great supermarket nearby, we made sushi almost every night! It is a close drive to Hanalei. When we do go back to Kuai we will want to stay here again! Thank you for sharing your condo!
