Nearby Bonita Beach and Barefoot Beach offer a more relaxed atmosphere. Journey a short distance to The Everglades for an airboat ride across the "Sea of Grass".
Naples is just a few minutes away, home of the Naples Philharmonic Center of the Arts, featuring a variety of live entertainment as well as awesome art displays. You will find fine dining and shopping at popular 5th Avenue.
Florida Gulf Coast University is nearby. The Barbara B. Mann theater at Edison College in Ft Myers also offers a variety fine entertainment. Broadway Palms is a nearby dinner theater.
Pelican Sound is a gated community in a serene setting. It features 27 holes of championship golf and a recently renovated clubhouse with both casual and formal dining. Tennis is a popular activity with Har-Tru courts. You will also enjoy the River Club with casual dining, a large swimming pool, spa and large sun bathing area. Canoes and kayaks are complimentary.
