Our house is located at the beautiful Pointe West resort on the west end of Galveston Island. Pointe West is a master planned development and is a one-of-a-kind location on the island.
"La Vita Semplice" has been designed to make you and your family comfortable. Every bedroom comes with cable TV and a DVD player for your enjoyment. You'll find wireless high-speed internet and long distance calls in the US at no additional charge. Feel free to pack light as we have a washer and dryer for you to do a quick load of laundry.

Why the Owner Chose Pointe West
The neighborhood is beautiful and very unique for Galveston. There is nowhere else in the area like Pointe West. There is a clubhouse, 2 swimming pools, a fitness center and a bar/restaurant all within the resort.
The Unique Benefits at this House
"La Vita Semplice" offers 3 bedrooms with a tv/dvd player in each room. There is also free wi/fi and long distance within the US at our house. I added a ping pong table to the garage which always occupys the kids no matter what the weather.

We bought "La Vita Semplice" in 2007 and love going there whenever we aren't renting it out to new friends. Our biggest dissapointment in owning such a relaxing vacation home is how often it is rented when we want to go.

Highly recommend this property for your next Galveston beach vacation! This home had everything we needed and more! Super clean, exactly as described and is as seen in the pictures. Bill was friendly & efficient to work with. We vacationed here the first week of May 2010. The beaches were clean and filled with shells. The water was prettier than I expected - very clean & clear with tints of blue & green. The Pointe West Resort pools were a fun place to go play and relax with our kids. We usually spent the mornings at the beach and afternoons at one of the pools. We enjoyed the lower back patio of the home every evening. We made dinner on the charcoal grill and watched the birds and fountains in the ponds behind the home while we ate. We even tried fishing off the little bridge over one of the ponds. This home and resort neighborhood had so much to offer that we didn't even feel the need to go into the "town" of Galveston. The home had soft, comfortable beds with high-quality soft & clean linens. The fully equipped kitchen made meals enjoyable to prepare. For those with small children, we appreciated that there were no stairs to worry about inside the home (most other Galveston beach homes are on more than one level). The only stairs you have to navigate are the entrance stairs up. When we return to Galveston, we will definitely book this property again!

We stayed for a month recently in this rental, and were extremely pleased. Bil was very friendly and helpful through both emails before we got there and phone calls after we got there. The unit was large and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. In fact there were a lot of things for the beach which we never used as we were there at a colder time of year.There were TVs in each bedroom and the living room. We did not have an ocean view, but there was a lovely view of the pond behind us where we saw many different types of water birds feeding. Also the deck in the back was a great place for sitting outside. The office/recreation center was slightly less than a mile down the road. There was a restaurant, gym, pool, beach gear rentals, and a helpful staff. It was about a 25-30 minute drive into the city of Galveston for groceries, restaurants, stores (besides mini-marts) and night life.

Our family met and stayed at 4142 Green Heron in Galveston and enjoyed every minute of our stay! The beach club and the home was actually better than we had anticipated Bill made renting from him a stress free experience. We will definetly go and stay again. Thanks for our stay the Orn family
