Owner's Map of Noe Valley
I have raised two young boys to men in this house and have perfected the place through years of improvements. The downstairs has recently undergone major modern renovations while staying true to it's original design as a Victorian, while the upstairs has been kept in it's original architecture so as to preserve the integrity of the Victorian. My eldest son recently helped put the finishing touches on some of the painting, and I personally chose all the furniture and art within the homes. I reside in San Francisco and still stay at the home occasionally, or provide my family with a unit when visiting. I often introduce myself to occupants and enjoy personally leaving a bowl of fresh organic fruit and some coffee beans for visitors.

We spend 9 days at this wonderful place. We try to visit SF once a year and always stay in a different neighborhood. This neighborhood was quiet and very close to Muni lines. Really on the southern edge of Noe so will need to take a long walk or quick bus ride to the heart of Noe.Love the neighborhood grocery store a half block down Randall. Quickly became friends with the owners who make fabulous hummus, stuffed grape leaves and sandwiches. The unit is everything we needed. Spacious, quiet, clean and a lovely back patio. Although we were never able to get the waterfall to work it was not an issue for us..Loved the ability to grill on the patio after a long day of roaming the city. Robin is a gracious host who was attentive to our needs. She helped me to pull off a surprize birthday partyfor my wife. We would return in a heartbeat.Great value .

My wife and I stayed here for a bit over 3 weeks and found the apartment very good, it was clean, neat and tidy, plenty of towels etc. and the kitchen was very good. The washing machine and the dryer appear to be new and worked very well, my wife was impressed. Although it is slightly out of the main city it was not a problem the tram/train was just at the end of the street, $2 into the city or a taxi was just as easy and very cheap. We enjoyed SFO and this was a great base to explore from, it was cheap enough that we could go away for a day or two and also not worry about our luggage that was left behind. We have rented apartments in various parts of the world and have found that if you are staying for more than a few days it is far better than a hotel, and a lot cheaper. As always booking this sort of thing sight unseen over the internet is a bit of a worry but I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. One extra thing was it had only 3 steps to the front door not like most of the other apartments we checked out that had 30 to 40 steps to climb.

The minute my husband, with our 2 boys walked into this apartment, we knew we found a gem. It was absolutely spotless (Robin has great house cleaners) and the decor was lovely. The apartment is much bigger than it appears in the photos. We didn't have a want in the world while staying for a week. Everything was provided from comfortable bedding, lovely aromatic shampoo, conditioner and lotion, maps and ideas of things to do in SF. Bathrobes to use at our leisure. A W/D (which is crucial when travelling with children). The kitchen had every gadget I needed to cook (and I love to cook). And, we had a nice welcoming gift of coffee, milk and biscotti waiting for use. The location is quiet. Easy walk to 24th Avenue. Just fabulous. We will definitely be back. Thank you Robin!

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights over the Columbus day week. The apartment was fantastic, spotless and beautifuly decorated. It's actually nicer and roomier than the pictures which are very accurate. A little challenge to find a spot to park your car at night, but not a big deal. From SFO taking bart and a muni it took 45 minutes from baggage claim to front door. Highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Robin !

Robin - We really enjoyed staying at your vacation rental in Noe Valley. It is a fabulous property in a great location. Thank you for all the information and the amenities that you provided. The food at the restaurants that you recommended was delicious. The accommodations were spotlessly clean and we relaxed on the patio with the waterfall. Everything about your property is fantastic. We look forward to renting from you again in the near future.

We stayed here with our 3 year old daughter in late June 2010 and really enjoyed it. The apartment is just as it is shown in the photographs - really beautiful and well-maintained. It really had all the comforts of home and the amenities of a first-rate hotel. The location was great, easy access to everything with plenty of free street parking. Just a block away were great restaurants, a playground, and stores, including a nice little market. The owner was very helpful and kind enough to get us started with some great coffee, fruit, and bread. Pomelo around the corner was fantastic (we HAD to go twice!), and Mitchell's ice cream was a real treat. We will definitely try to stay here on our next visit. Thanks for such a wonderful home away from home!

We just two nights at this place. The location is great: wonderful eateries, parks for our 2 year old daughter to play, nice walks. The place is charming, looks beautiful and is cosy. The upstairs unit was empty when we stayed and so we could even walk up to the garden. Amenities inside the place were superb too: lots of everything and all in excellent condition. The owner, Robin, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We had actually reserved the upper unit. When this unit became available, she called me to let me know that this unit might be easier for us because we had a toddler. When we left a day early because our work plans changed at the last minute, she was willing to give us credit for another day on our next visit. Don't miss breakfast at Pomelo, just down Church street or pizza at Gialina's, by Glen Park Bart station, a nice walk about a mile away, on the way to Glen Park Canyon. We stayed in a few places at SFO, but this was the best in terms of apartment quality, value for money and location. Highly recommended.

My mother and I loved making this beautiful apartment our base whilst staying in San Francisco. The owner Robin was a delight to deal with. All the amenities provided in the apartment from linen to crockery and appliances were absolutely outstanding!!!!! The location was handy to many attractions and we onlt wish we had found that lovely little French bistro earlier in out stay-perhaps it's best we didn't as we wouldn't have eaten anywhere else!!!!! I feel the rate was very fair for the standart we encountered. Make this lovely place your base too you certainly won't regret it I assure you!!!!!!

We just spent six weeks in this wonderful apartment. The place is full of character with high ceilings and antique furniture. It is spacious and comfortable. The shower is large, the kitchen is fully-equipped. The backyard was a real plus on sunny days. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Down the road, there is a shop where you find fresh fruits, bread, cheese, and several restaurants and cafés (try Pomelo which is very tasty). The J-line (tram) that brings you to Castro and downtown is only 2 minutes away. You can easily walk to Mission Street which is very lively. The owner, Robin, answered all our questions, communication was very good throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the place which felt like home. We'll surely rent it again if we come back to S.F.
