We arrived early and our host was very hospitible and permitted us to check in early and she provided coffee, fruit, oj and bread for our arrival. The flat looks just likie the posted pictures. The only drawback was the lack of available parking, however, the place was clean and roomy and the bed was very comfortable. This was our first trip to San Fransisco and our accomodations were what we expected.

My husband, 17 year old son, and I spent a wonderful week in San Francisco during our Easter break. I have had many trips to SF as my oldest son lives there with his wife. Each time, I've tried to be frugal in finding a hotel, which is not an easy task. My brother turned me on to VRBO and I found this marvelous apartment for almost the same price as a week in a hotel would cost. The difference was comfort, hospitality, and overall charm. This apartment made us feel like we were home and we were able to entertain, relax, and spread out. Robin is an amazingly hospitable person. She was quick with email responses and even provided a "goody" bag of first breakfast material: a loaf of bread (we are hooked btw on having this bread each morning), a pound of coffee beans, oj, butter, some fruit (pears must be in season), and half and half for the coffee. This place is clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated-loved the pics of the farmers market especially. My husband took a morning stroll (hike actually) up a nearby hill for a sunrise view and I loitered on the patio with the waterfall. There are several markets within walking distance and even the parking wasn't a hassle. If you are planning a trip to SF, be sure to check this place out and walk on down to Toast for a finger licking burger, or hike up Bernal Heights for a view of the Bay and the City. There is so much to do in SF that having an apartment to return to each evening just made all that more attractive to visit as much as we could while there. I have every intention of trying to secure this place each time I visit SF and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a home away from home experience. The location is fabulous, Robin is fantastic, and the apartment is worth every penny.

I stayed here in the unusually dry winter this year and loved my time. I have family around the corner and it was very special to live in the same neighborhood as my grandchildren. Robin was very helpful -- and indulgent -- in helping me spend time with a four-year old in her beautifully appointed and clean(!) flat. I took public transportation all over the city and to Berkeley, coming home by myself at night, and found the location and its access to public transportation convenient and safe. I will stay here every chance I get.

We spend 9 days at this wonderful place. We try to visit SF once a year and always stay in a different neighborhood. This neighborhood was quiet and very close to Muni lines. Really on the southern edge of Noe so will need to take a long walk or quick bus ride to the heart of Noe.Love the neighborhood grocery store a half block down Randall. Quickly became friends with the owners who make fabulous hummus, stuffed grape leaves and sandwiches. The unit is everything we needed. Spacious, quiet, clean and a lovely back patio. Although we were never able to get the waterfall to work it was not an issue for us..Loved the ability to grill on the patio after a long day of roaming the city. Robin is a gracious host who was attentive to our needs. She helped me to pull off a surprize birthday partyfor my wife. We would return in a heartbeat.Great value .

My wife and I stayed here for a bit over 3 weeks and found the apartment very good, it was clean, neat and tidy, plenty of towels etc. and the kitchen was very good. The washing machine and the dryer appear to be new and worked very well, my wife was impressed. Although it is slightly out of the main city it was not a problem the tram/train was just at the end of the street, $2 into the city or a taxi was just as easy and very cheap. We enjoyed SFO and this was a great base to explore from, it was cheap enough that we could go away for a day or two and also not worry about our luggage that was left behind. We have rented apartments in various parts of the world and have found that if you are staying for more than a few days it is far better than a hotel, and a lot cheaper. As always booking this sort of thing sight unseen over the internet is a bit of a worry but I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. One extra thing was it had only 3 steps to the front door not like most of the other apartments we checked out that had 30 to 40 steps to climb.

The minute my husband, with our 2 boys walked into this apartment, we knew we found a gem. It was absolutely spotless (Robin has great house cleaners) and the decor was lovely. The apartment is much bigger than it appears in the photos. We didn't have a want in the world while staying for a week. Everything was provided from comfortable bedding, lovely aromatic shampoo, conditioner and lotion, maps and ideas of things to do in SF. Bathrobes to use at our leisure. A W/D (which is crucial when travelling with children). The kitchen had every gadget I needed to cook (and I love to cook). And, we had a nice welcoming gift of coffee, milk and biscotti waiting for use. The location is quiet. Easy walk to 24th Avenue. Just fabulous. We will definitely be back. Thank you Robin!

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights over the Columbus day week. The apartment was fantastic, spotless and beautifuly decorated. It's actually nicer and roomier than the pictures which are very accurate. A little challenge to find a spot to park your car at night, but not a big deal. From SFO taking bart and a muni it took 45 minutes from baggage claim to front door. Highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Robin !

Robin - We really enjoyed staying at your vacation rental in Noe Valley. It is a fabulous property in a great location. Thank you for all the information and the amenities that you provided. The food at the restaurants that you recommended was delicious. The accommodations were spotlessly clean and we relaxed on the patio with the waterfall. Everything about your property is fantastic. We look forward to renting from you again in the near future.

We stayed here with our 3 year old daughter in late June 2010 and really enjoyed it. The apartment is just as it is shown in the photographs - really beautiful and well-maintained. It really had all the comforts of home and the amenities of a first-rate hotel. The location was great, easy access to everything with plenty of free street parking. Just a block away were great restaurants, a playground, and stores, including a nice little market. The owner was very helpful and kind enough to get us started with some great coffee, fruit, and bread. Pomelo around the corner was fantastic (we HAD to go twice!), and Mitchell's ice cream was a real treat. We will definitely try to stay here on our next visit. Thanks for such a wonderful home away from home!

We just two nights at this place. The location is great: wonderful eateries, parks for our 2 year old daughter to play, nice walks. The place is charming, looks beautiful and is cosy. The upstairs unit was empty when we stayed and so we could even walk up to the garden. Amenities inside the place were superb too: lots of everything and all in excellent condition. The owner, Robin, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We had actually reserved the upper unit. When this unit became available, she called me to let me know that this unit might be easier for us because we had a toddler. When we left a day early because our work plans changed at the last minute, she was willing to give us credit for another day on our next visit. Don't miss breakfast at Pomelo, just down Church street or pizza at Gialina's, by Glen Park Bart station, a nice walk about a mile away, on the way to Glen Park Canyon. We stayed in a few places at SFO, but this was the best in terms of apartment quality, value for money and location. Highly recommended.

We just spent six weeks in this wonderful apartment. The place is full of character with high ceilings and antique furniture. It is spacious and comfortable. The shower is large, the kitchen is fully-equipped. The backyard was a real plus on sunny days. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Down the road, there is a shop where you find fresh fruits, bread, cheese, and several restaurants and cafés (try Pomelo which is very tasty). The J-line (tram) that brings you to Castro and downtown is only 2 minutes away. You can easily walk to Mission Street which is very lively. The owner, Robin, answered all our questions, communication was very good throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the place which felt like home. We'll surely rent it again if we come back to S.F.

We stayed in this fantastic flat for a week. It was perfect. We were very comfortable with everything we needed and had the luxury of beautiful furnishings, decor, wooden floors, kitchen, dining room, washing machine, soaps and shampoos provided, patio and conveniently situated right near excellent transport. The owner was brilliant and made us feel like valued guests. It was the best accommodation during our entire 5 week trip to America! Happy Australian traveller

Jeal and I recenty had our second stay at this beautiful, well appointed apartment at 1453 Randall Avenue. The apartment is very charming and the amenities show thought and care. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The apartment has lovely furnishings and a great kitchen for preparing food for oneself and for guests. The host provided all the necessities for a beautiful stay in San Francisco. The neighborhood is most convenient to travel via Muni to the center of the city and parking in the area was not a problem. There are many interesting restaurants in the area. Our daughter stayed with us for several nights and found the pullout couch most comfortable. We highly recommend both the apartment and the hospitality showed to us by the host. I'm writing this review at the end of a 7 week stay and just don't want to leave. The apartment is exactly as advertised - except better. Very comfortable and homey, it gets plenty of light all day long. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is the kind you'll dream about after a long day climbing the city's hills, there's plenty of hot water for the shower, new tv & dvd player, etc. Be advised, however, that if you're coming for a long stay the closet and drawer space for clothes is somewhat limited - but probably not at all an issue for folks staying just a short while. I loved the easy accessibility to all areas of the city (especially downtown where I was working) via the J-Church line at the bottom of the hill and a variety of buses. The neighborhood of lower Noe Valley is one I keep returning to and recommend whole heartedly. The quiet at night is heavenly...many nights I took a moment to stand on the front step looking down the hill across the valley appreciating this corner of heaven. The landlady is extremely friendly, keeps the apartment in immaculate condition, is very prompt to help with whatever might crop up (one night, like a scene from a comedy, all the smoke detectors starting beeping from low batteries and the next day they were all fixed). People ramble on in reviews and I've just done the same, but there just aren't enough words to express how wonderful this place is.

My mother and I loved making this beautiful apartment our base whilst staying in San Francisco. The owner Robin was a delight to deal with. All the amenities provided in the apartment from linen to crockery and appliances were absolutely outstanding!!!!! The location was handy to many attractions and we onlt wish we had found that lovely little French bistro earlier in out stay-perhaps it's best we didn't as we wouldn't have eaten anywhere else!!!!! I feel the rate was very fair for the standart we encountered. Make this lovely place your base too you certainly won't regret it I assure you!!!!!!

I stayed at this beautiful apartment for a week with my sister, a friend, and my 1 year old daughter. The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated with very luxurious furnishings. It felt like staying in a high class hotel from the attention to detail, but with the comfort and convenience of a home. Robin, the owner, was very accommodating and has done a great job with this place.

I've been meaning to write- we have now stayed here twice for two different weeks a year apart and we were delighted with this special find. My husband and I thought this flat was so chic and bright ,and so beautifully planned for a comfortable and effortless stay. It was a pleasure to return when the opportunity of a second visit came up. We also feel the area has much to commend it, cool shops and restaurants, but especially for peace and quiet when you want to sleep. And the bed is excellent quality too. Having the charming garden too made it a rare find. The owner couldn't be nicer- wish she lived next door! Hope you get the chance to book this lovely place.

My family and I (3 children and 2 adults) spent five wonderful nights in this beautiful apartment. It is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It's walking distance to the Noe Valley and Glen Park restaurants and shops and just a block from the street car. I can't think of a nicer place to stay in San Francisco.
