Newer home sited on a large lot across the street from Munds Canyon. Magnificent Ponderosa Pine trees and abundant wildlife can be viewed from the huge (550 Square Foot)deck that is ideal for family gatherings or family group parties. The deck has a steel fire pit, multiple patio tables and umbrellas, ample chairs and a gas BBQ. Situated 20 minutes South of Flagstaff and just 1 hour 40 minutes from Phoenix, this is an ideal base from which to enjoy the many visitor attractions of Northern Arizona including the Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Montezuma's Castle, and others. Within the Golf Course Community there are club facilities, a lake, and a community park with childrens play equipment and a tennis court.
In the cabin there is central heat and AC, a large screen TV with DVD Player, Leather sofa and tasteful furniture. The kitchen is fully appointed with range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and all pots, pans, dishes, and utinsels needed. The Master bedroom suite has a four poster queen bedroom set with pillow top mattress, dresser & mirror, 2 night stands and an entertainment center with TV and DVD; has ample walk-in closet; has a very comfortable master bath with double sinks, tub & shower combined and a separate commode. The 2nd bedroom has twin trundle beds that comfortably sleep two adults and the third bedroom has sturdy wooden bunk beds for young adults or kids. Air pump and 2 double bed air mattresses are available for additional guests. There is a tent and coleman cots if sleeping under the stars in the security of the open air deck appeals to the adventursome in your party. If your pet comes along there is a 4 foot by 12 foot chain link dog run behind the house and one large dog kennel on the front porch.

Clean and Cozy Place to Stay

My husband, 2 dogs and I just returned to the blood boiling heat of Phoenix after almost a week stay at this cabin/house. It was such a relief to be out of the Phoenix heat, even for a brief time! This house was very clean and homey. Our "girls" loved sitting out on the raised deck watching everyone go by o the street. The covered patio and deck were great for our meals and to just sit and read. A very relaxing time was enjoyed by this little family! This location was great to serve as a base location for a variety of activities (hiking, fishing, etc.) or just to sit and relax (read, etc.).

My family and I just returned home to the scorching heat of Phoenix, AZ after a long weekend get away at this Munds Park Family Retreat vacation rental. The house was so clean, comfortable and up to date, we couldn't ask for anything more! My two year old daughter doesn't get to play outside much with the hot Phoenix summers so she thought she was in heaven running around the large enclosed deck all day and night. We ate all our meals outside enjoying the weather and scenery. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return.

Had a great time at this very clean and cozy home. You would never know that pets are aloud to stay here. No sign of pets here! We just loved the large deck. Everything could not have been better. Will come back for sure! Thanks Jeff.

I would recommend this property to friends and family. This home was excellent with tons of space inside and outside. The layout of the home was perfect for our family of 7. The house is in very excellent condition and very well maintained. The big screen TV (with surround sound) was perfect for watching movies all together. There was a perfect amount of space to enjoy yourself whether it was for watching TV, eating, playing in the yard and sleeping. The kitchen was everything you could ask for and included all your kitchen needs for cooking or baking. There were tons of extras throughout the home which included extra bedding, extra blankets/sheets, games, cards, toys for children, puzzles, radio, and sleds for the snow. The home also includes washer and dryer was which was great for drying and warming up our snow clothes. The owner provide us with excellent service, very friendly and was a great help! The information we spoke about were very detailed and we had no unanswered questions with the directions and instructions sheets provided. The owner was also very helpful with providing information for activities and near by locations. We had little to no worries at all. I cannot say enough about this property. I do not think we cannot say any negatives about this property. We do wish there wasn't as much snow to enjoy the patio, deck, and playground but we were all aware of the weather conditions before our stay. This is a perfect home for families anytime of the year. This is definitely a perfect home away from home! Our family hasn't stopped talking about our trip since we left. We would definitely go back again!

This cabin was great, very spacious and clean. The front porch was huge and was a great place to sit and enjoy breakfast in June. We also enjoyed watching videos at night on the large screen TV.

We based our Elk hunt in Unit 4B from this house in late November and early December of 2007. The week and weekend of our hunt was cloudy, rainy, and cold. Having such a clean, warm and conveniently located cabin to stay in was wonderful compared to a lot of hunters who were camped out in the rain! I'm definitely going to rent this place again.

We spent the 17th of January through the 20th of January enjoying the warmth and comfort of the cabin. We went sledding near the transfer station on Willard Springs Rd., took in a movie in Flagstaff, had lunch at the Snow Bowl lodge and built a snow man. Dad supervised my friend Cheese and me and my two 7-year old sisters playing Mr. Mom all weekend. The snow cover was beautiful under a full moon!
