One queen bed in the bedroom, full size futon in main room. Newly built spacious 720 sq ft, second floor, detached Sea Turtle Guest Hale (ha-lay means house). Bamboo flooring and window shades. Wireless internet, radio with CD player. All linens and kitchen necessities supplied. Complimentary coffee and tea. Full size fridge, microwave,blender,coffee maker, toaster oven and 2 burner cook top.
Conveniently located to many Hilo and Puna sights and activities, such as, Volcano National Park, Panaewa Rainforest Zoo, Macadamia Nut Factory, snorkeling, Lava Tree State Park, Akaka Falls. Sundays visit Makuu Market place. An open-air bazaar with food, live music, plants, clothing and more.
Help yourself to the lemons, oranges and grapefruit when in season.

  • What a fantastic find! It was perfectly located for our volcano adventures. Close to highlights on the east side of the island, but had a nice country atmosphere. I would stay again!

  • We were very impressed with this beautiful apartment! We agree with the other reviewers--it is much better than the pictures, and quite a steal! The rooms are very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the decor was very nice. The location is a bit remote, but still close enough to all the stuff you'll want to see. We stayed here while we explored Volcano National Park and the Hamakua Coast. A great place--highly recommended!

  • PARADISE FOUND! Country atmosphere, yet close to many island attractions. Clean, bright, and nicely furnished. Better than the photos. A steal for the price. A gracious and generous hostess. This little island home was the perfect place for us to stay--very rejuvenating. We hope to return again soon! Mahalo.
