You will be so close to all of the area attractions, but far enough away to really relax. And the views are breathtaking! Wake up early to watch the brilliant sunrises from the back deck. With a captivating ambiance, this cabin is a place to reflect and unwind.

Why the Owner Chose Boone
We enjoy nature and the beautiful vistas of the mountains, especially at Overlook Retreat! We fell in love with this view and love watching sunrises and the fog rolling through the mountains from this little perch.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
The back decks overlooking the view are a great hangout for all! And this cabin has everything we need so we can skip town quickly. I love the extra supplies. You just need groceries and personal belongings to visit!
A great gathering place for restuarants, art galleries, coffee shops and unique stores. You'll love this one-of-a-kind downtown! Artists have painted beautiful mountain scene murals on the buildings
A "Must see"! This is a wonderful family style restaurant with unlimited servings of food. Plus, they have a water spring onsite that is rumored to be the "founatin of youth." Gift shop, too.

We love the mountains and our family includes Appalachian State University alumni...so we visit as often as we can!
After having 2 children, I realized that it is so hard to travel with babies and toddlers. My goal is to make it easier on families and to cater to families hoping to spend quality time together. I am a mom to 2 boys, ages 3 and 6, who are so much fun and full of energy!
I am an artist, specializing in abstracts, landscapes, and children's art. I am also a potter who cannot get enough of Raku pottery - collecting it and making it!
