Enjoy morning Sunrises and Romantic Evening Sunsets from our lovely Lanai! - Poipu Rental Located on the sunny South Shore at Poipu Beach, just 30 steps from the waters edge, this one bedroom Condo is among the best of ocean front condos Kauai has to offer, with Both sunrise and sunset views to enjoy from your personal lanai. This peaceful unit has Hawaiian-style decor with a number of large wall mirrors that reflect the ocean and custom koa wood trim. Also we incorporated in our decorating low voltage lighting, and indirect lighting to help capture a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, refrigerator, coffee-maker and blender, as well as a dish set, silverware, glasses, pots and pans, and kitchen utensils. The counter tops are kashmir granite slabs, and the floors are all tiled with inlaid marble. The bathroom has white Carrera marble tile with inlaid accents, Verde serpentine counters, wood accent trim and a double shower head. Some of the interior doors have custom art panels that were hand carved in Lima Peru. The furniture is made of bamboo and some seats are covered with taper cloth designs. This unit, with all the custom accents, is sure to make your stay a unique and comfortable experience! The location can't be beat - walking right out to one of the best snorkeling spots on the island is reason enough to stay here. The unit is perfectly located for sweeping ocean views and nice patio furniture to relax on throughout the day. The sea turtles hang out in the water literally right in front of the Condo, and surfers and boogie borders are fun to watch (or join if you have some skill) in front of the Beach House restaurant next door. Sounds like a lot of activity, right? Well, you couldn't find a more peaceful retreat to enjoy. Parking is plentiful, there's a hose and shower outside near the parking to rinse gear, and coin laundry is clean and convenient in the complex, and this unit has its own washer and dryer set as well. It appears that the owners and management care a lot about the feeling of "ohana" at Kuhio Shores. The location is close to everything along the South Shore. With the trade wind breeze and soothing ceiling fans, and NO direct sunlight beating into our unit throughout the day, we feel it is set up with a natural air conditioning, making it a cool and comfortable retreat from all the nearby action. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting paradise!
