Just bring your suitcase and enjoy everything that Anna Maria Island has to offer. Boating, fishing, skiing, parasailing, dining, shopping, are all within walking distance - or, hop on the free island trolly which comes by every 15 minutes to discover the entire length of the island and beyond to St. Armand's Circle in Sarasota for a minimal fee.
Anna Maria Island is conveniently located on the West Coast of Florida. We are a short one-hour drive to Tampa Airport and Busch Gardens or a 2.5 hour drive to Orlando with Disney World, Epcot, Sea World and MGM Studios.
Of course, the favorite activity of most visitors to Anna Maria is to just grab a beach chair and lounge on the white sandy beaches. If you are feeling a bit more adverturous you can hit the beach and walk for miles admiring the beautiful blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and all the wildlife she has to offer.
