Peaceful location nestled in the center of numerous activities, such as the Georgia Mountain Fair with famous Country singers appearing throughout the year.Two arts & crafts shows are scheduled in the Spring and Fall. We are located close to Young Harris, Blairsville & Helen, GA with golfing, shopping, antiques, arts & crafts, and within 2 hours of destinations like Atlanta, Gatlinburg, Cherokee, Pigeon Forge, Asheville, Chattanooga and Knoxville.
There are many activity's for young and old such as six movie theaters with courent up to date movies and entertainment for the young only one mile away.
For multi-family lodging, ask us about the cabin next to us that is about two hundred feet away and is very clean and nice and about the same price.

We built this house new on our property next to our house primarly for our family to stay in if they wanted to have privacy.

New and very clean. Fantastic view, water access, No boat dock. Good swimming area with gradual slope. Very quite with almost no trafic.

This place is very clean and cozy. Fantastic view of the lake and great quiet street to walk dogs. Also, close to town - only a few blocks from moveis, and restaurants. Fully stocked with cleaning supplies, coffee filters, soaps, etc. Stayed in April and saw the beautiful dogwoods trees from the porch.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children, romantic getaway, people with disabilities.

My husband is on a scooter almost full time because of MS and this accommodation fit us well. It is all on one level. The bathroom has a small step into the shower. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous!!! The picture in the add is exactly what you see from the couch as you rest and relax!! The owners are very accommodating and willing to put down ramps as we needed. We went to Brothers just outside of Young Harris to eat..it was GREAT!! If you are looking for a relaxing,well maintained home this is a good place to try!!

A wonderful, inviting and very clean house. Perfect for a family of four. Beautiful views and a tranquil atmosphere on the wraparound deck. Ideal for sunbathing or relaxing in the evenings. Ruth and Glenn were so accommodating and generous. You could not ask for a kinder hosts. Everthing you could possibly need while on vacation is there. We will definitly return to the Dogwood Den on future visits. We would encourage all travelers, visiting the area, to choose this as your resting place. You will not regret your choice.
