Big Canoe is a 8000-acre mountain resort community, including; three lakes, 15 miles of hiking trails, a Joe Lee designed 27-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis, a complete state-of-the-art fitness center with Olympic-sized indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, racquetball, workout facilities, and a complete day spa. Spend the day at the Big Canoe Swim Club with an outdoor pool and a lake with a beach for swimming, paddle boating, canoeing and volleyball. The family will have a blast on the rock slide through the woods that drops into the lake. Pontoon boat are available for rental through the fitness club. Rent a boat and cruise out to the island in the middle of the lake, it's an amazing picnic spot!
This beautiful mountain retreat is decorated in rustic elegance, and is fully equipped for your convenience and comfort. Relax on the rocking chair front porch while listening to the lulling sound of the waterfall. The house has a beautiful, two-story, great room with stacked-stoned fireplace, beautiful pine wood ceilings and floors, and a wonderful granite kitchen with all the bells and whistles. Off the kitchen is a screened porch where you can listen to the calls of woodland birds, and possibly spot a deer or wild turkey that call Big Canoe home.
On the main floor there is also a lovely bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a brand new washer and dryer in the laundry room. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a deluxe king-size bed as well as a luxurious bathroom with a stone shower. Also upstairs is a serene loft with two walls of windows and beautiful views of the mountainside. Off of the loft is a private screened porch, it's the perfect place to relax with a good book. Downstairs is a bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath and recreational room with a small pool table and a TV. The house has a flat driveway with a basketball hoop, perfect for family fun. |
