These pleasures can be experienced from either of the two lanai’s of "Le Penthouse" at Kauhale Makai (Village by the Sea). This luxurious TWO BEDROOM, TWO BATH, sixth floor OCEANFRONT condo has gorgeous, uninterrupted panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the west Maui Mountains and neighboring islands. The beachfront of Kauhale Makai is excellent for long morning walks. Don't be fooled by some "oceanfront" claims. Ours is the straight-on OCEANFRONT condo with the best views on Maui! Our condo is located on the sixth floor of the Anthurium building at Kauhale Makai. It is the largest unit in the complex. It was COMPLETELY REMODELED in September of 2007. There are two bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The kitchen has all new appliances and is, of course, fully equipped. There is a dining area, which seats four. There are lanais off the living room and the master bedroom. Our condo, which has TWO-ZONED CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING, contains a TV, CD player and has high-speed Internet access (cable Internet is available for a nominal daily, weekly of monthly fee - you bring the computer). There are washers and dryers on every floor. Kauhale Makai is located on the leeward side of Maui, in the town of Kihei. The mountains protect this area from the storms and rains of the northern and eastern parts of the island. The complex consists of two six-story buildings, each with two elevators. It features a pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, putting green, shuffleboard, gas barbeques and volleyball court. Public tennis courts are just a short walk away. Many of Maui’s world famous beaches and renowned golf courses are located just minutes away. Our central location is convenient to many of Maui’s natural attractions, not to mention restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and entertainment. Be sure to check out The Wailea Shops from 6:30 to 9:30 every Wednesday evening for free entertainment and The Maui Arts and Cultural Center’s website. Sorry - Our complex does not allow pets, and our’s is a NON-SMOKING condo. Our street address is 938 S. Kihei Rd, Kihei, HI.
