SALE!!! All remaining March dates on SALE for $200/nt. Mountain Thunder Lodge is located in the heart of Breckenridge, the most convenient location to access everything in town! Walk to Main Street just one block away, the gondola, the music festival tent, and the shuttle system. On Main Street, you will find shopping, restaurants, galleries, museums, ski/board/bike rentals, and many other services.
The BreckConnect Gondola is just across the street, accessible via the Skiway/Skyway which takes you to the Gondola through a tunnel under the street. The Gondola takes you to Peak 8, where you can catch the other lifts, sign up for lessons, enjoy the Half pipe, and access the other Peaks. When you are ready for a hot tub, ski back to Mountain Thunder Lodge on the Skiway/Skyway. Relax in one of three hot tubs, or enjoy the heated pool.
Mountain Thunder Lodge is beautifully decorated with an elegant but rustic feel. The main floor Lodge room is a sitting area that features log accents, slate floors, plush furniture, and a fireplace. Store your skis just across from the Lodge room in your private ski locker. A few steps from here, enjoy working out in the Fitness Facility. The Breckenridge Recreation Center is also nearby, and offers additional fitness and sports options.
Your condo is on the top floor, easily accessible by elevator. The South facing condo is sunny, and has spectacular views of the Continental Divide and the Ten Mile range. Enjoy these views and the clear pine scented mountain air from your private deck.
The open living, kitchen and dining area, with a vaulted ceiling moss rock fireplace create a warm and spacious gathering area for the whole group. The completely furnished kitchen is a pleasure with its granite counters, knotty pine cabinets, and slate floor. The kitchen includes a stove with smooth cooktop, refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker, microwave, and dishwasher. Small appliances include a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and crock pot. All utensils, including cookware, plates, glasses, silverware etc. are provided. If you would like to BBQ, gas grills are provided on the Main Floor patio outside the Lodge Room. The living room features a gas mossrock fireplace, Cable TV, and DVD player. The sofa converts to a queen sleeper.
The Master Bedroom has a King size bed,(new mattress Jan. 09) TV in an armoire, and a desk. The 5 piece Master Bath has a bathtub with a shower, a separate shower stall, and two sinks. This beautifully tiled bathroom includes a hair dryer, and towels, of course!
The second bedroom is furnished with a Queen size bed (new mattress Jan. 09)and a TV in an armoire. The second bathroom is a full bath, and also includes a hair dryer.
High speed internet is available, wireless or ethernet. The first hour is free. The Lodge Room on the Main floor has a DVD rental library, which you pay for at the Main Floor desk.
If you bring a vehicle, park in the heated garage. You can easily shuttle about town using the free town shuttle system. You can even shuttle to the other Ski Resorts in the county!
Mountain Thunder Lodge is a non smoking building. Pets are not allowed.

Why the Owner Chose Mountain Thunder Lodge
We loved in the "in town" location, and you can ski back to the condo. The Gondola and City Market are close, and the building offers extra ammenities, such as a pool, exercise room, heated garage parking, and hot tubs. All this, plus everything Main St. has to offer, which is just two blocks away. Also, we wanted "awesome" views, which are visible from the living room and both bedrooms.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Luxury ammenities such as the pool, hot tubs, exercise room, heated parking. ski in, Gondola out, proximity to town. The unit is spacious. Walk or shuttle all around town easily. The building also offers "convention" rooms appropriate for corporate group meetings, weddings, etc.
This center features a full size grocery store, a liquor store, a ski rental store, Windy City Pizza, a shipping and office store, and others.
The location of oncerts, and many other cultural events, such as the Internations Ice Sculpture Championships in January are held in this parking lot.

We met in 1977 in Aspen. It was always our dream to have a place in the mountains to go skiing. Turns out, it's the Breckenridge summers we really love. We are in our late 50's now (can you believe I admitted that?), and we no longer downhill, but cross country ski and snowshoe when we can get away from our condo business, taking along our beloved Golden Retriever "Buddy". Ellen is a retired teacher, and Randy is a retired masonry contractor. We own three Breckenridge condos, and they keep us busy. We manage our own properties, and you will only deal with us.
