Use the INCLUDED KAYAKS on the crystal clear spring-fed river to take a refreshing swim or possibly view the manatees, otters, fish, deer, birds and other wildlife. The boat ramp and floating dock make an easy in/out when using the Included Kayaks.
This home has a stone fireplace and a "wood cabin" like feeling that makes it a great place to rest and unwind. Fully-furnished and fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room with sliding glass door into the screen room. You can relax inside the screen room or sitting at the covered picnic table overlooking the river while watching the variety of water craft, manatees and the mullet jump.
There are endless places to go on day trips, less than an hour from Tampa attractions and an hour and a half to Orlando attractions. Locally there is the one-of-a-kind Weeki Wachee Springs (mermaid show), Rogers Park, Hernando Beach, Pine Island Beach and Homosassa Springs State Park. The location is also very convenient to many restaurants, theatres, shopping and so much more.

Thank you for all the comforts of home away from home. We loved our stay here at your charming and very comfortable river front cabin. We're from Washington and this was our first exposure to river front living in Florida. We love the atmosphere and environment. My cousin in Hernando Beach has a boat and they gave us tours up the Weeki Wachee River and into the Gulf - spectacular. They also let us borrow a canoe so we were able to experience the peacefulness of the river by paddle. We intended to put the paddle boat in the water but never did. We were able to see manatee and a variety of fish and birds. a wonderful stay. The cabin was so well equipped. We would love to return some day. Our sincere thanks!

Our family had a wonderful time. It was a great setting for a family with kids. We enjoyed the paddle boat a lot. The dock and gazebo were favorite places for the kids. Thanks for your hospitality.

We really did enjoy our stay here over the 4th of July weekend. We enjoyed swimming in the cool clean waters of the Weeki Wachee River and we also enjoyed boating in the Gulf. We found a nice island and were able to swim in the gulf where the water was so clear and clean. The fireworks on the 4th were spectacular. We saw several manatees during our stay. We found this to be a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed our time here. Your home was very clean, neat and functional. Everything was here. We also saw a manatee one afternoon. We had a number of friends over for a barbeque who live in a gated communities and they too enjoyed your home. Thank you.

I enjoyed my stay here. I found it to be very relaxing and homey. We were lucky - we saw the manatees right at the dock at various times. We really hate to go back to the snow and ice. PS: We also saw the dolphins on our last day here!

We are here for a family gathering and enjoying the lovely river. Torrential rain last night. Celebrated our daughter's "sweet 16th" this morning. We are a long way from home. Would love to see a Florida bear!
