Three Bears Den is a home, not a condo, with the comfort, convenience & privacy you want in a vacation. We have designed the home with relaxation in mind. Kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable furnishings combine living and dining areas. Fireplace is gas with artistic design. Guests rave about how comfortable the mattresses are. Sun Peaks Resort has excellent snow coverage from late November to Mid April. The summer is open to mountain hikes to see wild flowers, mountain bike trails, golf. Food, art & music festivals are scattered through the season.

Why the Owner Chose Sun Peaks
After staying in hotels and homes at different vacation areas, we designed & built our home to be the best of what we experienced elsewhere. The area we designed for ski clothing & boot storage and drying is everyone's favorite.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet
The home has ample parking and covered, lighted walkway for easy entry to the home. There is a bench outside the door which is great to sit and remove ski gear. A locking ski storage area is just outside the door. Step outside and ski down to the lifts.
The home garage and parking faces Sandance Drive and Douglas Court. We ski in directly off the mountain to our driveway. Lots of parking. Snow removal maintained by owner.
Sun Peaks Resort grooms this trail. We look for the decorated tree off the Rambler trail to ski in to the home.
Every year our holiday tradition is to hike up the ski in trail and decorate this tree. It marks where we turn in to ski back to the Three Bears Chalet.

In 2003 we found this property covered with chest deep powder snow. In the spring of 2004 we started building. By 2005, we had our first family holiday in the home. We designed our home so our kid's families would have their own private spaces, as well as a great gathering area. It has been just as enjoyable creating an environment where others can enjoy the same at our vacation home in Sun Peaks. The Three Bears Chalet is our home and your home away from home!
