Warm Springs Creek and Washoe Park is just blocks away with excellent fishing for trout, or inner tubing the creek. We are at the base of the Pintler Wilderness area for hiking, biking, backpacking, hunting and fishing. Discovery Ski area is only 14 miles away. Fabulous Mt. Haggin Cross Country Ski Area is just a 15 minute drive away. Georgetown Lake (and many picturesque mountain lakes and streams) are just a a few miles down the road. Our area epitomizes the "real" Montana seen on all those postcards! The historical districts of Butte and Anaconda is the largest in the nation. You can spend days visiting the sites and "ghost towns" in our area and take home fantastic memories. Take in the 2008 National Folk Music Festival! Great music! Or come for "Art in the Park", Anacondas summer Music, Art and Food Festival! Try "Alive at Five", our weekly summer TGIF party downtown street dance. Ride the "Copper King Express" antique excursion train. The "Polar Express" version begins running in mid-November! The Anaconda Art and Wildlife Expo is a "must see" in September. To relax, soak and waterslide at the Fairmont Hot Springs, just minutes away. The historic, Art Deco, Washoe Theater offers first run movies. $5 buys a ticket, drink and popcorn!
