Year Purchased: 2001
We are Doctors of Chiropractic who are pleased to be able to offer this lovely historic 150 year old home to visitors. Our goal in life is to live naturally and organically. We came here as a result of a voice in a dream telling us to come. We were guided here and the Hawaiian name for this place means abundance of preciousness. We realize we are only caretakers of the earth, and are pleased to be able to share the wealth that this spot on the oldest part of the island affords.We both write and are artists.
Why the Owner Chose Laupahoehoe
We looked at a lot of places before buying this property. We did not see any other place that had the privacy, the immense view, the lovely ambiance of gardens and grounds, that this place has. Furthermore, being open to the ocean air, we found that this place has the least amount of mosquito population which was very important since Michael is a magnet for them.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Just perfect weather, glorious views, velvet air on the skin are our daily delights. Life is simple here and the abundance of the planet grows on the banana, mango, citrus, macadamia trees in their season. Come in the winter and see whales off the cliff in the deep waters they cavort and make noise. We are near almost everything of beauty but not in the midst of the traffic and hustle bustle.
