  My six friends and I stayed in this condo for our spring break vacation. It was wonderful!!! The view from all of the balconies were absolutely gorgeous. Some of the reviews I read before renting this condo said that the security guards were rude and obnoxious. However, during my stay I found the security guards to be very respectful and helpful. They helped us with directions, with locating good restaurants to grab lunch at, and also made us feel very safe and secure. Overall, this condo was definitely worth the money we spent on it. Julie was amazing to work with. She couldn't have been more cooperative and patient. Thank you so much again!!! This was the best vacation I've ever had.

  We had a wonderful time in a Padre and the condo was perfect for our two families! We loved having the sliding doors open and listening to the ocean on Christmas day! The hot tub was one of our favorite spots too! Everything was absolutely perfect and Julie made everything so very easy! We definitely plan on making another trip in the future! :~)

  We enjoyed every minute of it...so close to the beach! The kids can't wait to go back. Very accomodating for our lab as well. A blast for all!

  The only thing I would say, not necessarily as a negative comment but just as a comment, is that I was surprised that it would be the renter's responsibility to clear out the refrigerator and strip the beds. I would think that the cleaning fee would include that. It was not something that would keep me from renting the condo again, but since we have VRBO property in Colorado and the cleaning fee includes these things, it just surprised me. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. We will definitely rent this property again. The securtiy does pose a little bit of a problem if you are dealing with taxis, but the security did make you feel extremely safe. The photos were accurate.

  Owner response: In the high season, with the high volume of people coming in, it just helps the housekeeping when rentors strip the beds and empty the frig. It isnt mandatory, but helpful with the high volume of cleanings during the summer. I certainly appreciate your comment on this matter.   I have been taking my family to the coast since 1995 and have stayed in more than a few condos and hotels.Our recent stay at Bahia Mar has to be about the best. I'ts a beautiful clean place. The security is vigilant and my family felt secure also, had some not so pleasant experiences at other places. Relaxing at their beautiful pool and hot tub, to taking a few steps and enjoying the ocean, it was just what we needed. The Bahir Mar will be me and my family's choice @ Padre from now on.

  The condo worked perfectly for our 3 families with small children. We loved the pool and hot tub which was big enough for all of us to enjoy at one time. The access to the beach and views of the beach were great. We enjoyed it all and would recommend it to our friends.

  This was absolutely the dirtiest rental we have ever had from VRBO. Ceiling fans in disrepair, blinds broken, floors filthy, registers and ceiling fans coated with black dust, furniture broken. The beds were clean and comfortable but the bathroom linens were ratty, gray towels. We went to Walmart and purchased towels for our use. The balconies are so small they are not useful for anything other than drying towels. The complex is quite lovely and well maintained with a beautiful pool, but we were sadly disappointed with this specific unit.

I wish you wouldve said something or called me. I wouldve had the housekeeping come over right a way.Maybe since you came after Texas Spring Break, the place just wasnt as clean as it shouldve been which is no excuse. Please let me give you some kind of refund or future discount, so that I can make this up to you. Julie

  We came back to the same condo this year because of our positive experience last summer. This time, we came with two couples and each of us was very comfortable with our own bedrooms and private bathrooms. We all especially enjoyed the deck on the the beachfront in the early mornings and evenings. Because of the windy weather conditions, we did not spend as much time on the beach as we had hoped, but we thoroughly enjoyed the easy beach access and fabulous views from the condo. Cooking in the condo was also easy and enjoyable, as the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils. We look forward to returning to one of Julie's rentals at our next opportunity!

  We stayed at this condo with our three college-age children, one of their friends, and our infant grandson. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable, a highchair and travel crib were available for our grandson, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The view was absolutely the best; we were literally steps from the beautiful beach and enjoyed stepping out on the balcony to listen to the ocean waves. Julie was very responsive when there were problems with the air conditioner and it was repaired right away. During our stay, problems with internet could not be resolved, although Julie attempted and was very responsive. I have already recommended this property to friends and family and look forward to returning as soon as we are able!

  I've stayed at these condos a few times over the last few years, and they never disappoint! I took several friends who had never been to SPI before and they really enjoyed the accomodations. I especially liked the deck along the beach with lawn furniture, it was a nice place to sit and enjoy the sunrise. The new swimming pool/hot tub was great too. Julie was just a phone call away when I needed her, and she was was helpful as always. Definitely two thumbs up and we will be back for sure!
