If you are looking to go back in time to the early 1800s but have all the amenities of modern life, this is the home for you.

House was built in 1830s and has been beautifully restored. Parlor is ideal place to sit and read a book. Living room has large screen TV. There's a screened in porch in back of the house with views of a charming garden. The backyard is spacious with a large gas and charcoal grills. Pets are generally welcome and entire property is enclosed so plenty of room for Fido to run unleashed.

Four bikes are provided (at your own risk)for those who might like to bike over to Shelter Island or locally. Beaches are easily accessible by short bike ride or car, either at the bay or on the Long Island Sound. The vineyards are so close and touring them is a unique experience. Many new restaurants have opened in Greenport to outstanding reviews.

Also great that a car is not needed for those who want to get away from it all but don't want to drive. Take the Railroad or bus from Manhattan and walk 3 blocks to house. You are in the heart of town with everything at your fingertips.

Please note this is not a party house but if you are looking for relaxation, great food, fresh farm stands, an idyllic town, this is it! Thanks for looking.
