Located on the South side (Beachside) of Scenic 30-A, lies this Brand New 6 Bedroom, 5 Bath home. "Group Therapy", with over 3500 sq feet on 3 levels. This luxurious home features a private 16 x 26 pool and lush tropical landscaping just completed in March 2008. There is parking for 5 cars.
The main level features a huge 14 x 24 gourmet kitchen complete with 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, 6 burner range, double oven, granite countertops, wine refrigerator and computer station. There is a 15 ft center island with farm sink and seating for 6-8. The living room, with travertine tile floors, is on the main level and is very large with two seating areas and views of the swimming pool. There is also a dining room, full bath and laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
The 2nd level features a huge master suite with King Bed, large walk-in closet, private 5 piece luxury master bath and a private deck. There are two additional bedrooms with decks overlooking the pool and Gulf of Mexico and an additional full bath. The 2nd Bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom features a Twin/Double Bunk bed with a twin trundle bed (Sleeps 4)
The 3rd floor is identical to the 2nd floor and features a 2nd huge master suite complete with a large walk-in closet, private 5 piece luxury master bath with separate shower and soaking tub and a private deck. The 3rd floor also features two additional bedrooms with expansive decks and great views of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as an additional full bath. All bedding on the 3rd floor is identical to the 2nd floor.
The beach is a quick 3 minute walk with no major roads to cross (Approx. 5th row from the beach, we are not on directly on the beach). The beach access features, showers, bathrooms, picnic area and lifeguards. Each room has a Television with cable tv hookup and a computer is provided with internet access. Family Reunion over Thanksgiving

Our family had a wonderful stay in your home over Thanksgiving. There were 16 of us total, and the house meeted and exceeded our wants and needs !!! The first floor was great for everyone gathering - there were plenty of seats for all of us during our meals -- kids sat at the bar and we moved the bench over to the table and we all enjoyed the feasts ! Those of us cooking didn't feel like we were seperated from the rest of the group. Having two refridgerators and dishwashers were a welcomed treat that were used often!!! The bedrooms were great -- the kids would disappear for hours in their bunk rooms! We did have the pool heated while we were there and it was great entertainment for our 6 kids...and the grown-ups too!! Easy access to the beach and a wonderful little park/paths at the opposite end of the road. Everyone agreed that we wanted to make this a yearly tradition and would definately consider using this property again. The only downside we found was there was no mop !!! but who really wants to clean when they are on vacation !!! ha

Overall the place was really nice, great location, easy walk to the beach or drive to shopping/dinning etc. Most rooms were wonderful, but some of the rooms didn't offer must space for unpacking (other than a closet) no drawer space. Also the kitchen, though having 2 dish washers and 2 refrigerators, one dishwasher didn't work, and one freezer didn't work. Also one refrigerator smelled horrible. We even purchased some baking soda and it didn't help. Also I was surprised at the lack of pots of pans. It had some but not nearly enough for cooking for 10-12 ppl as it sleeps. We were also unable to find a brome. House was very clean and well-maintained. Pool and deck area was very comfortable and private (even with a house right next door). Parking for 3 cars easily and possibly a 4th. Den area was large and very comfortable for all our family (8 adults and 4 kids).
Owner response:Renter called and let us know about the freezer not working, and that the dishwasher rack was missing a wheel. We promptly contacted the appliance repair company that went out and made the repairs. I just did our end of season audit and deep clean and noticed, like every year, a number of our pots and pans disappeared over the season. We replaced with a full new set. Parking is actually for 5 cars. Thanks for the feedback. Ron
