We spent 2 months in this condo this summer. The description of the condo is accurate. If any thing I think the condo was even nicer than they described. Very nicely furnished. clean hot tub outside with marvelous views. It was serviced weekly. The location was the best . A 10 minute walk to old town Park City or one could take the bus system that would take you all over the valley.A car is absolutely unnecessary here. There were free concerts almost every nite and absolutely wonderful restaurants. The local Park City newspaper comes out bi weekly. That was a great source of activities and coupons for 2 for 1 dining at some of the really good restaurants including Stein Erickson's . Park City has 2 libraries, one in old town and the other at Kimball Junction. The bicycle/walking paths are numerous and very easy to find. The buses have bicycle racks on the front if you just want to cycle one way. There are really 5 separate commercial parts to the Deer Valley/Park City locale----Deer Valley, Old Town Park City, Kimball Junction, The Canyons and the Olympic Site. There is a huge skate park for kids, public tennis courts and ski lifts that take you up the mountain for spectacular hikes. 2 of the mountains have restaurants that are open for lunch. Park City has an Alpine slide that is fun as well. The Olympic site has tours of that whole facility and puts on ski jumping shows. Olympic teams from many countries train at the Park City site and it was fun to watch the long ski jumping practices. The owners were very attentive to our every question. The kitchen was certainly adequately furnished. It was a wonderful 2 months. I certainly would recommend this condo to everyone.

The renovations in this place are simply awesome. Granite everywhere - kitchen, bathrooms. Very well appointed and equipped kitchen for the gourmet cooks. Great location for the kids with car or bus transportation. We were 5 minutes to the Snow Park Lodge which made ski school an easy event. The ambiance created by the owner made us think of home. With the twin master suites, this worked out well for our two-family group. We'll be back!

Well, I’m not much on writing these kinds of things, but this year has been amazing for me. Free HS internet makes it easy to comment via laptop…And I am so happy to report, the SNOW in Park City and Deer Valley has been awesome! What a GREAT year.Last year I stayed in a place that was very modern and next to the Park City resort. In truth, it was a dump. It was drafty, very dry, and lacked parking. It sucked, big time! This year, I stayed in Fawngrove 1450. What a wonderful difference. While the Condo was built about 15 years ago (i think), it was spacious, had underground parking (a major benefit when there is so much snow like this year) and cozy. It had two fireplaces, so when our gang was eating dinner and sitting around the table, we could feel the warmth of the first fireplace. When we relocated to the living room for our mandatory après ski drinks, we could watch TV and drink in the warmth of our Utah State Liquor store (haha) Don Julio Tequila, AND get totally jazzed over the great powder skiing this year under the 30 foot vaulted ceilings, without being COLD. I loved the place. The owners promptly brought over TP when we ran out and helped us understand how the Jacuzzi controls worked, duh. The rooms had humidifiers in them, which – after living in Maui for the past few years, were absolutely mandatory for sleeping in this very dry and high altitude setting. Oh, and if you hate driving your rental car up to the slopes, I have to tell you. The bus drivers came by every 10 minutes and were the friendliest people I have ever met in this kind of a job. They gave away free chapstik, free sunscreen and lotion and candy. I generously threw two bucks in the tip bucket after a nice 3 minute jaunt to the ski slopes in lower deer valley and met Gordon again on the way home. It was totally cool not to have to worry about parking, open air shuttles, and driving after skiing all day long.I highly recommend this beautiful condo to anyone visiting this year, and after this last snowstorm which dumped another 12” of snow all over Deer Valley resort, really hated leaving and going back to the rainy side of the tropical island of Maui. Happy Skiing. SH

My husband and I came up to Deer valley with our two preteen kids and their best friends (and parents). There were eight of us all together and we did not feel cramped at all. We all had plenty of privacy and the views from the windows were just spectacular. Fireplaces were easy to operate. The kids were in the bunk room downstairs and probably had the TV on all night but we didn't hear a thing! The owner was easy to reach and helped us get acquainted with the place. The shuttle ran every 20 minutes and there is another Deer Valley shuttle (nicer) that will drop you off right in front of the door on the way home from the slopes. I think it is shuttle B. Ask for the second entrance to Fawngrove and have them go into the circle drive and drop you in the middle. You will be right outside the front door. We learned that there were two entrances to Fawngrove so on the way home, ask for entrance two. Kind of confusing the first time around but then super easy.

But, I am writing this whole review because the hot tub was so excellent. Now, the hot tub can get up to 107 degrees, which I LOVE but some might feel is a LITTLE too hot!! Check the temperature before getting in! So many places have crappy hot tubs (a big peeve of mine) but this one has excellent jets and you really CAN see the runs. It was so fun sitting out there with a beer watching the snow cats groom the runs at night. We all jumped out and into the snow and had a blast. Perfect for families and kids.
