Why do we feel our unit has no comparison? Not only do we have one of the largest 2 bedroom floor plans we also have furnished the suite with the highest quality in mind. Our suite is not decorated like the vast majority of suites you will find in Mexico(heavy and crowded furniture), we have furnished our suite in a modern contemporary theme.
We believe you have found the finest two bedroom in all of Las Palomas- the only 4 diamond resort in Puerto Penasco. This large open floor plan includes 2 bedrooms / 2 baths and is located in the newest phase of Las Palomas. If you prefer an open floor plan this is the suite for you. The interior has over 1600 sq ft and the private balcony has over 400 sq ft with 40 linear ft of ocean view! We are also pleased to have our unit featured on the Las Palomas informercial!
In this suite you will find wall mounted LCD televisions in every room, high grade furniture and accessories, fully equipped kitchen, and the most comfortable and appealing patio furniture you will find. We have even stocked our condo with games such as: dominos, playing cards, chess, checkers, monopoly, scrabble and more.

As a guest of Las Palomas you are entitled to use the facilities in both the 1st phase and 2nd. Don't forget the wood fire pizza in the pool bar (phase II), the award winning restaurants (La Maria-Mexican, Citron-French), and the award winning golf course! Citron now offers a great Sunday Brunch.

We stayed at this beautiful condo and had the best time!! Everything was first class from the moment we checked in until we left. The Condo was perfectly decorated and well stocked with a gorgeous view of the Sea Of Cortez. This unit was the nicest condo we have ever stayed in. We absolutely loved it. It had every type of dish or cooking utensil we could have asked for. We were able to wash, dry, and iron our clothes. We enjoyed the board games and movies. The balcony view and comfortable furniture was amazing. The whole place is gorgeous. We will definitely be returning.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was absolutely beautiful, clean and modern...not your more typical Mexican-inspired decor. The bathroom is straight out of a million dollar custom home with gorgeous floor to ceiling natural stone work. The balcony offers expansive views of the ocean and pool areas and the sounds of the lapping surf, but is high enough to avoid the din or pool noise that lower floors would experience. The facility itself is top quality, and surpasses the luxury and amenities of other nearby properties. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered a good quality and very inexpensive breakfast buffet. We didn't eat dinner there, opting instead to cook up a gourmet meal in our room. The heated pool was where most people gathered as we were still a little early in the season for the other pools, although our kids braved the lazy river and loved it. The only complaint we had was with the pool side towel service where we had to wait longer than necessary for someone to show up to give or receive our towels twice over the three night stay. This may have been a function of it being the off-season. All in all, highly recommended and we look forward to going back again soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This was my first time utilizing VRBO. The owner immediately responded and the reservation process was easier than I expected. The unit is in immaculate condition - as displayed in the pictures. I plan to return and make this our new vacation unit. I have been to Puerto Penasco the past four years and have stayed at other resorts. None compare to this unit and Las Palomas... The resort was clean. The staff was attentive and the cleaning service came every day and did a great job.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had the best time on our family vacation this year! A big part of that was this wonderful condo! We have a family of 5 including 3 girls ages 13,17 and 20. The rooms were very spacious(the girls stayed in the King room) and absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is stocked with all the things you need to eat in for any meal,make sure to bring coffee filters it was something I forgot. The owners had games and movies and a guide to the channels on the big screen TV. The staff at Las Palomas is courteous and right on top of things. There is a restaurant on site that looked amazing,we'll go there next trip :) The Pool Bar at Phase 2 has great food I recommend The fish sandwich. There are 2 happy hours during the day and again the staff was wonderful. My husband and kids road horses on the beach and did the banana boat(all in front of resort.) My husband also went deep sea fishing. I would DEFINITELY stay at this resort,in this condo,again. I already have been referring people :) The only negative we had was a fire in the building(main AC unit) The negative was we had to leave our lovely condo. The positives were: the staff evacuated everyone safely and quickly and got everyone a new room. Luckily it was our last full day there but we sure missed spending it in #148820!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Nice condo, but if you like the temperature cool in your room, I would not recommend this condo. The temperature is preset and locked at 78 degrees. It was like a sauna. The humidity level inside was almost 50%. Very uncomfortable to sleep at night. Fans didn't help either because there was no cool air to blow around. I will not be renting this condo again unless we can lower the temperature on the air conditioning.Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: Hello, I truly apologize for the temperature situation in the unit. we recently had the a/c serviced and it appears that the thermostat was locked at 78%. the system usually locks in the mid 70's. a/c units due to the humidity and heat in the mid summer (in mexico) tend to burn out if they are set too low. thank you for the update and I will be sure to instruct the a/c company to re-set the system.

(nw corner of main street and road to resorts, stadium is located on the se corner). One of the best taco spots. They open at 3pm untill the last customer leaves and are closed on Wednesday. Besides their typical carne asada tacos they have quesadillas, vampiros, etc. Their tacos "al pastor", pronounce: "al pastor", are awesome, as someone already mention I personally like how the cook preps them with the onion, cilantro and guacamole. The place is newer and clean (very clean bathrooms). great prices too- $1 per taco is typical

About the owner: I am the owner of an insurance brokerage company in the Phoenix AZ metro area. We have a 3 year old girl and 6 month old baby girl. Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco), Mexico is our second home.
Why the Owner Chose Las Palomas Resort:
We have traveled to many areas of the world, in particular coastal and beach areas. We purchased a beach home in Puerto Penasco Mexico for the following reasons... The proximity to major western US cities was something we could not pass up. Also, the beach area is one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen. We found the area we wanted to buy in, now we just needed to find a resort that would offer the finest amenities and services we expect when we travel. Fortunately, we found a resort that offered everything we wanted. The resort we purchased in is the finest resort in all of Puerto Penasco and the only 5 diamond rated resort in Puerto Penasco. We truly love the area and the memories it will offer for years to come.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our original intent for our property was to own and not rent, thus we furnished our suite with the highest quality furnishings. Since we are not able to use the property as much as we would like, we decided to rent during the times we could not use it. Here are a few reason we love our property... We love the open floor plan our suite has (one of the largest in the entire resort), we love the large ocean view patio that measures 400sq ft. We love the excellent restaurants located within our resort. We love the 5 diamond amenities the resort offers. Last and not least, we love the ocean and beach area in front of our suite!
