The House and property has more than you can get at a hotel or motel at a comparable price.
This home is modern yet one feels nostalgic and a piece of the past because of the furnishings and old timbers. It has fresh vibrant colors and modern high intensity lighting. However they can be adjusted to give a peaceful serene atmosphere. Equipped with a full kitchen, it allows options for dining in or out. Very comfortable sleeping, cable TV and best of all is the privacy and the numerous wooded walking trails for exercising and clearing the head. There are several old log building on the property and others going up.
If you are coming to Nashville or the Middle Tennessee area on business or pleasure you are just minutes from where you need to be in Middle Tennessee. We have lots of brochures of Sumner County, Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Stay Down on the Farm, Country Guest House on 100 Acres
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Nashville
It has been a 20 dream to share our property with others. All those years ago when we started planting pine trees (near 10,000) on the place we began to have a vision of people coming to share this wonderful place. We dreamed of building cabins for people to come and enjoy the farm and the outdoors. We enjoy the fellowship and friendship. It is our desire to share some of ourselves and for you to share some of yourself with us.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We have recently added solar power to the farm to light up an area that we envision sharing with others for weddings and family gatherings. The catfish pond has provided many wonderful memories for our guest and us. The peaceful wooded walks and the wildlife just put one in touch with nature and the simple things in life. One can enjoy campfires at night and listening to the whippoorwill. Nashville and all kinds of history and music and just minutes away.
Catfish pond with some whoppers. We feed them every few days and is that a sight.
Solar panels and bath facility near the pavilion in the woods. Gardens and log buildings near by.
Old log smoke house which we use in the late fall for smoking meat. Building was erected around 1880.
50's soda fountain and the best shakes and malts I have ever tasted.
Greenhouses, flowers, bedding plants, strawberries(late April-early June), Blackberries and Peaches (June-September), Pumpkins and Fall decorating items. Clean and refreshing place. Call Cathy or Mike
Fine selection of wines produced from Tennessee grapes. Wine tasting and some verrry nice antiques. Grape stomping in August, Cruise in and concert September. Call 615-325-4086 or visit their web sit
